According to Baha’is, “the independent investigation of the truth” means all people must investigate freely and without prejudice before accepting any belief. They must see with their own eyes, hear with their own ears, and think without any love or hatred towards what they are investigating. Apparently, this is a prescription that only non-Baha’is must adhere to. S detailed study of the actions and sayings of the founders of Baha’ism, shows the contrary:
The Bab orders that no book must be studied but those that he has authored. Bahaullah decrees that no knowledge must be attained but that which he has brought, and Abdul Baha commands that those who object to his successors must be swiftly excommunicated from the Baha’i community.
2) The oneness of the world of humanity:
According to Baha’is, “the oneness of the world of humanity” means all human beings are like brothers and sisters and color, race, or religion make no one superior over another. Apparently, this concept is only a lure used in their preaches. What can be inferred from the lifestyle of the founders of Baha’ism shows a very different picture:
Bahaullah calls Muslim Shias polytheists and forbids socializing with them and accuses those who refrained from becoming Baha’is as being animals and legitimate. He also calls Turks killers and cannibals and believes they must be given ridiculous answers when spoken with. Abdul Baha states that black Africans who have not been educated, are cows that God has created with human figures…
3) Religion must be the source of unity:
According to Baha’is, “religion must be the source of unity”. This means if the advent of a certain religion results in differences, fights, and wars, then that religion is worthless and it is better that it does not exist. With this principle in mind, and by studying the sayings and actions of the founders of Baha’ism, we can deduce that it is better if Baha’ism didn’t exist at all because Baha’ism and its predecessor, Babism, were the cause of a great deal of mischief and bloodshed. The Bab, Bahaullah, Abdul-Baha, and Shoqi Effendi all engaged violently with their opponents in a bid to become the leaders of these movements and their efforts sometimes lead to all-out war between them and their rivals. In this regard, Bahaullah caused so much hatred and oppression that people would say about him: “If Hussein Ali (Bahaullah) is the manifestation of Hussein ibn Ali (the third Shia Imam who was ruthlessly murdered by Yazid), then May God Bless the soul of Yazid.”
4) Religion must be in accord with science and reason:
According to Baha’is, “religion must be in accord with science and reason.” A religion which contradicts science and reason is not a religion, but merely an illusion. With this principle in mind, and by studying the actions and sayings of the founders of Baha’ism, we can conclude that Baha’ism, itself, is an illusion and not a religion:
Bab orders in his book, Bayan, that all non-Babi books and people must be destroyed. Bahaullah approves this very book and expresses that a single letter in it is more dear to him than everything that exists in the skies and the earth. Bahaullah also believes that all knowledgeable people who do not become Baha’is are ignorant. His scientific beliefs are even more interesting. He believes that copper turns into gold if kept in a damp mine for 70 years… .
5) The Removal of all prejudice
According to Baha’is, “the removal of all prejudice” means human beings must not have any prejudice whether it be religious, racial, national, political or etc. Apparently, this is a prescription that only non-Baha’is must adhere to, for the founders of Baha’ism themselves practiced extreme prejudice:
The Bab orders that non-Baha’is must be killed and their belongings confiscated. Bahaullah calls Shia Muslims polytheists and prohibits meeting them. He calls all those who do not accept Baha’ism animals and illegitimate. Abdul Baha commands that those who object to his successors must be swiftly excommunicated from the Baha’i community and to excuse must be accepted from them.
6) The spiritual solution of the economic problem:
According to Baha’is, “the spiritual solution of the economic problem” means there must be equity between all people and wealth must be distributed in a way that people in all levels of society live a prosperous life. Apparently, this concept is only a lure used in their preaches and the actions of the founders of Baha’ism contradict this belief.
Bahaullah allows money to be lent with an interest charge and Abdul Baha announces that there is no need to establish equity between all people.
7) The establishment of the universal house of justice:
The universal house of justice is a council consisting if at least nine men which has been created on the basis of European tribunals to administer the Baha’i population. According to Bahaullah, Abdul Baha, and Shoqi Effendi, the universal house of justice is only legitimate when supervised by a Guardian (Wali Amr Allah).” In contrary to what Abdul Baha had prophesized, Shoqi Effendi was sterile and had no children (who after the death of Shoqi, the Baha’is do not have a guardian and the universal house of justice has no legal basis.
8) Universal compulsory education
“Universal compulsory education “ means all the people of the world must be forcefully taught and educated using identical and common guidelines. Apparently, this concept is only a lure used in their preaches and the actions of the founders of Baha’ism contradict this belief:
Although Abdul Baha had prohibited that Baha’is be sent to non-Baha’i schools, he sent his own grandson, Shoqi Effendi, to many different non-Baha’i schools and institutions. With respect to “the compulsory education” they had in mind, it suffices to say that even with these educations, the manners of the founders of this faith were such that they would call their opponents donkey, fly, mosquito, worm, owl, wolf… . every time they had a quarrel.
9) A universal language:
According to Baha’is, “a universal language” is needed so that people use a single common language instead of learning many languages. Apparently, this concept is only a lure used in their preaches and the actions of the founders of Baha’ism contradict this belief. Until now, no language has been introduced by the Baha’i administration as the universal language they have always preached and contrary to what they claim, Bahaullah and Abdul Baha have ordered their followers to learn Espranto, Persian, Arabic, English and German.
10) The equity of Men and Women:
According to Baha’is, “the equality of men and women” means all men and women must enjoy equal rights and status. Although this is one of their most preached teachings, it is also one which their founders least adhered to:
Bahaullah explicitly states that men are preferred over women. He also states that men can practice polygamy (and women can’t), women have a lower share in inheritance, women are not allowed to perform the Baha’i Hajj pilgrimage and women can’t be a members of the Universal House of Justice
11) universal peace:
According to Baha’is, “universal peace” means that under no circumstances must nations fight with each other and a superpower must supervise all nations to make sure this principle is followed. Apparently, this concept is only a lure used in their preaches and actions of the founders of Baha’ism contradict this belief, because the Bab, Bahaullah, Abdul Baha and Shoqi Effendi all fought with their opponents and in some cases caused death and bloodshed. Bahaullah tells his followers to be fire for his opponents and Abdul Baha prescribes war as a way of achieving peace. He also claims the United States of America will not attack another country.
12) Humanity is in need of the blessings of the Holy Spirit:
According to Baha’is, “humanity is in need of blessing of the holy spirit”. This means the human society is always in need of a religion and divine revolutions. Since people’s needs change as time passes, new religions and prophets must come and go. Baha’is use this teaching to prove that Bab and Bahaullah were prophets (or manifestations who came when the world needed a new religion. Ironically, this teaching is only applicable to the prophets that came before swears that there will be no new prophets or religions after him. Abdul Baha states that Baha’ism will last forever and there will be new prophet for at least 365 million years.
