Note:
The Republic of Iceland is the northernmost country in Europe and an island nation in the North Atlantic. Its capital and largest city is Reykjavik and its population is 341243 (2020). The currency is the Icelandic Krona and its official language is Icelandic. 93.36 percent of the population are Icelanders of German descent and the rest are mainly immigrants from other European countries. About 88 percent of the people of this country are Christians and most of them are Protestants.
Icelandic language (Islenska) is an Indo-European language belonging to the Scandinavian language group of the Germanic (North Germanic) family of language. Icelandic is the official language of Iceland. It is closely related to Faroese and some Norwegian dialects.
Among the Scandinavian languages, Icelandic retains most of its ancient features and is reminiscent of Old Norwegian. Despite its small number of speakers, this language us great cultural and literary importance. The geographical isolation of Icelandic society has had a major impact on the islanders’ interest in literature and the uniformity of the language.
However, the following notes are worthy to be mentioned:
1) According to the Baha’is claim: “The book Aqdas, Baha’s book in commandments, was written for the first time in nearly 1873 A.D. when he was still in Acre city in Arabic language. In the introduction of the book, the universal house of justice writes: The great book of Aqdas is uniquely important comparing with more than 100 other Baha’s books.[2]
Additionally, the Baha’ism organization network claims: “For the first time, the book Aqdas was officially translated into English language in 1992 A.D. coincided with the centennial death anniversary of Baha. During the past three decades, this book has been translated into various languages.[3]”
Why should the translation of such so-called important book be delayed?!
2) There are many reasons and proofs for revising the so-called divine books of the Baha’i leaders including the following part of the Baha’ism organization message: “Geoffrey Pettypiece who has helped type and prepare the text for publishing explains that the translation of the book to Icelandic language has been done during a year and a half by a special team[4].” Why has a special and elected team delayed for a year and a half to translate a booklet?!
It is interesting to be noted that the self-proclaimed Baha’ism prophet’s works and speech are full of writing and content errors due to the lack of originating from the divine origin. Thus, the Baha’i leaders have had to revise them over and over. Such revisions and censors started from the self-proclaimed prophet of Baha’ism’s period of time[5] to Abdul Baha and Shoqi’s one[6] and is continued by the universal house of justice.
3) The Baha’ism organization doesn’t allow the Baha’i leaders’ books to be translated into Persian language!
