In this report, “Hoda Mahmoudi, the chairman of the association gave a speech about the violence against women. Pointing out the principle of equality of men and women which is of the most important principles of the Baha’i cult, she considered the principle as an advanced one in order to prevent violence, tyranny and aggression against women.[1]
However, it is surprising to investigate this issue that the equality of men and women can’t cause for the violence and aggression against women to be prevented; but vice versa if will cause the statistics of violence and aggression against women to be increased.[2]
Against the Baha’i cult, the religion of Islam has presented the comprehensive commands to defend the rights and greatness of women such as preventing strategies and punishments for aggressors that are as follows:
1) Covering for women called “Hijab”, ladies must cover their body to be safe
2) Being chaste for both men and women
3) Limitation of unnecessary relationships with aliens which cause immoral and illegitimate relationships.
Consequently, it can be said that not only the Baha’ism cult, hasn’t offered a suitable strategy to defend women’s greatness; but also it has tried to expand adultery in the society because the Baha’i cult orders the adulterers to pay gold to the universal house of justice as the punishment for this flagrant action.[3]
