According to one of scholars in this regard: “Contrary to the ideas of some historians such as Ahmad Kasrawi and Fereydoun Afdamiyyat who consider the primary Babism as independent on the Colonial powers, (Despite being pessimistic with this cult they consider the influence of Colonialism in the cult since the branching of Babism into Azali and Baha’i)  my research emphasizes on the primary bonds between Ali Muhammad Bab and his followers and the definite centers of which a network of powerful and wealthy Jewish dynasty were its stockholders.[2]”

     In additional to be Jewish, Baha’is haven’t been under pressure by the Pahlavi regime because according to the documents of the American embassy, the dignitaries in the Pahlavi court are Baha’is. It is stated in the embassy documents: “The Baha’i religion isn’t formally popular having ten thousand followers in Iran; although one of the king’s relatives called Dr. Ayadi is Baha’i like other Iranian dignitaries.[3]”
