First, those who exaggerated were a cult of Shiism; but now it is a cult or they are cults which exaggerate in its or their religions. Exaggeration is prohibited in the holy Quran. It is said in the holy Quran:
“Say O’ people of the scripture! Stress not in your religion other than the truth, and follow not the vain desires of folk who erred of old and led many astray, and erred from a plain road.” [al-Maideh/77]
Consequently, the holy Imam (peace be upon them) confronted those who exaggerated severely and cursed those who exaggerated the holy Imams:
May God curse those who say what isn’t said about us by us. May God curse a person who call us God. We are God’s slaves created by Him. We will return to Him. We are subduced by Him.[1]”
The holy Imam (peace be upon them) prevented Shiite to have social intercourses with those who were exaggerating:
“Don’t have social intercourses with those who exaggerate. Don’t eat food with them. Don’t befriend them. Don’t commute them culturally and scientifically.[2]”
Nevertheless, it is interesting to be known that the leaders of Baha’ism cult not only introduced themselves as the real God:
“Surely, I am saying at the moment that there is no god but me as Noqteh (Ali Muhammad Bab) said before me and as whoever come after me will say so.[3]”
They have but also admired those who exaggerated at t5heir times. As Ishraq Khawari says:
“The Excellency Mirza Bozorq entitled Badi’a was a young man became the carrier of the Blessed Tablet when he was 17… After a while, he came to Mousel from Baqdad. He entered into Akka city in 1286. He was wandering till dusk when he arrived at a mosque. He visited a group of Iranian people. He figured that the Excellency Abdul Baha got ready to pray as the leader of group prayer and some people followed him. So, he wrote a poem on a piece of paper and presented:
I follow son of Allah
I bow down for secret of Allah
Nobody is right but Bahaullah
There is no god but Allah
The Excellency Abdul Baha had mercy on him. At that night he visited the Blessed Beauty and departed towards Iran…[4]”
Contrary to the way of the holy prophets of God and like previous Pharaohs, the claimant of Baha’ism prophethood has introduced himself as the God of gods and admired those who have accepted his divine claim.
