Not long ago when I was speaking with a proselytizer from the Baha’ism organization and encountering with the claim for investigation of truth and the slogan of independence of Baha’ism, I reminded him that the Baha’ism leaders emphasized on their followers to be sleep contrary to these slogans two places:
First, the Baha’ism leaders’ aim for calling their followers as sheep[1] is their absolute obedience as the forged prophet of Baha’ism says:
"لو یحکم عَلی المَاءِ حُکمَ الخَمر و عَلی السَّماءِ حُکمَ الارض وعَلی النُورِ حُکمَ النَّار حقٌ لارَیبَ فیهِ و لَیسَ لِاَحَدٍ اَن یَتَعَرَّضَ عَلَیه اَو یَقُول لِمَ و بِمَ و الَّذی اَعتَرَضَ اِنَّهُ مِنَ المعترضین"
“If he calls water as wine and the sky as the earth and the light as fire, it must be accepted because it is right undoubtedly and nobody is allowed to oppose. If a person opposes he/ she will be of those who has turned against.[2]”
Second, the Baha’ism leaders have also intrigued their followers to be sheep when they encounter their cruel and aggressive lords. As Abdul Baha advises his followers: “If a cruel person tyrannizes and attacks like a wild wolf, the divine disciples must be surrendered like sheep. So, they mustn’t resist; but they must copy sword with nectar. They must suffer injuries and kiss the killer’s hands and be killed in the divine path. They must ask God to forgive the cruel person.[3]”
However, the Baha’i proselytizers claim for the Shiites to call themselves as the dogs of the holy Imams (P.H.). They are continually calling Shiites as dogs.
Answer:
1) The function of several young Shiites who likened themselves as dogs of Aba Abdullah Al-Hussein (P.H.) doesn’t mean that the holy Imams (P.H.) call their followers to be dogs but they were constantly seeking for real Shiites to be devoted followers of God after recognizing their rank as the divine caliphs because human being is a creature who has been created in the best position and is cherished according his/ her Lord:
"وَ لَقَد کَرَّمنَا بَنیِ آدَمَ..." (اسراء/ 70)
“Verily, We have honored the children of Adam…” (Al-Isra/ 70)
Thus, the holy Quran emphasizes the faithful not to humiliate each other and not to given each other bad names and titles:
"يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا يَسْخَرْ قَوْمٌ مِنْ قَوْمٍ..." (الحجرات/ 11)
“O’ ye who believe! Let not a folk deride a folk…” (Al- Hujurat/ 11)
Consequently, God doesn’t like the faithful to deride each other and call each other using bad names. Surely, if a person name himself/ herself with a bad name or title and causes him/ her or his/ her school to be humiliated by others, his/ her action won’t be liked.[4]
On the other side, during history, we haven’t seen in the history of the holy prophet (P.H.) or the holy Imams (peace be upon them) a case in which he has let his followers to even bend for them and be humiliated. Surly, he won’t let a faithful person be called dog for respecting him or the holy Imams.
2) According to the Baha’i proselytizers, even if the prophets have been likened to herdsmen and their followers to sheep is merely because of their characteristics for leadership and obedience; but it is quite different from Baha’ism in which Baha’is must absolutely obey their leaders illogically like sheep.
3) It is interesting to be noted that the Baha’i proselytizers have insulted Shiites and called them dogs while Dr. Habib Mo’ayyed (one of the Baha’i proselytizers and authors) calls Baha’is honorably as Abdul Baha’s dogs in the book “Habib’s Memoirs” confirmed and published by the Baha’ism organization.[5]
