Bahaismiran:

According to the Baha’i books, Jurasalim was captured by the Great Britain on Dec. 9, 1917 A.D. The war happened after Abdul Baha’s trips to the west and his relationships with the American and British assemblies.

During the war between the Ottoman and the British government, Abdul Baha supported England. He revealed information about the Palestinian land and various regions of Palestine for England. He was also paying attention to the British requirements and trying to provide them. So, the Baha’is provisions for the British army and played an important role in the victory of the British army over the Ottoman one.

In her book confirmed by the Baha’i leaders, Lady Bloomfield has mentioned several parts of the preparatory role of Abdul Baha for the aggressive British troops in occupying Palestine land. In her book, she has mentioned Hussein Ali Baha’s properties and lands and his relatives’ ones: “The Excellency Abdul Baha was occasionally purchasing lands in various places such as Asefieh and Daeeiyeh near Heyfa. He bestowed the lands to his two younger brothers Ziyaullah and Badiullah. He also bought other lands in Samireh and Adasiyeh villages near Jordan.[1]

The land wheat considered as a great wealth for the Baha’i heads; so they were keeping wheat as a strategic crop in large amount in storages.

After explaining the events, Bloomfield writes: “A large amount of the wheat was stored in warehouses… when the British troops entered into Heyfa, the army supply department encountered problems. The relavant officer referred to Abdul Baha to consult. He said: “we have wheat.” The mentioned officer asked surprisingly: “Do you also have for the British army? Abdul Baha answered: “I have wheat for the British army, too.[2]” In this way, the British army provision was provided.
