After mentioning and confirming Ali Muhammad Bab’s (Babism leader) letter of repentance in Tabriz, Abul Fadhl Golpaygani compaired his resistance with Hussein Ali Nouri (the prophethood claimant of Baha’ism): “Because Bab’s repentance has been mentioned, it is suitable for the Blessed handwriting to be included here and to let the smart readers counterpoise it with tablets sent down by Hussein Ali Nouri in the great prison for kings and monarchs.[1]”
There are several notes here to investigate and criticize the confession and comparison:
1) The self-proclaimed prophet of Baha’ism has introduced Ali Muhammad Bab’s resistance as one the reasons for his legitimacy[2]; while according to the Baha’i texts concerning the Excellency Bab’s letter of repentance[3], there will be no insist for attributing the resistance feature to Bab!!!
2) The Excellency Golpaygani has tried to show that Hussein Ali Naha has been superior to Bab by comparing Bab’s weakness with Baha’s resistance. As if, he has forgotten that when the self-proclaimed prophet of Baha’ism considered himself as the promised one of false Bab, it means destroying the basis of Baha’ism legitimacy as the promised one of Babism!
3) When Hussein Ali Nouri was captured and imprisoned in Iran, he was never been under pressure or verified. When he was even arrested during unsuccessful assassination of king Naseruddin as one of the Babi heads, he got free from prison by the direct intervention and threatening of Czar Russian government.[4]
4) Even, he pretended to be Muslim after being exiled from Iran and posing his propehthood claim for the Babis[5]. Now, how is it possible to be considered the Excellency Baha as stronger and more resistant than Bab?!
