“Ayatollah Broujerdi had a special and sensitive view towards Baha’ism and fought against it. He was stating: When I met the king I was stressing to prevent this deviant cult. Also, he was promising but he wasn’t acting. In one of meeting, I put pressure on him. He said: I am not able to do it. You must help me. I said: I have no power. You are in power. He said:
Force people to complain to be said to me in order for me to have a document to prevent. I figured out it wasn’t a bad idea. From that time on, I forced the people of cities to write letters against this movement. The month of Remadan approached. I said to Mr. Falsafi to give a speech against Baha’ism. Consequently, the king ordered Batmanghelich to destroy Hazirtul Qods (the Baha’is center) building.
After two or three days, it was reported we don’t destroy this center; but we would change it into library.
Eventually, one night they came and said: There is a person from the court to see you. I allowed him to come in. that person came and said: it is asked the king from the embassy to leave the religious minorities alone. Because it is our duty to save the minorities security. If you aren’t able to save their security, we will save it. I said unfortunately, too: End up the proposition in order not to make the Muslims disgraced. Thus, it was to change the Baha’i center into library and apparently the issue was ended.
