Ruth White was an American author who was a member of the Baha’i Faith. She became widely known as an American Baha’i who rigorously challenged the Will and Testament of `Abdu'l-Bahá, one of the founding documents behind the Baha’i administration.
She was expelled from the religion because she claimed that the will of `Abdu'l-Bahá was a forgery.
She was born in Chile to American parents pioneering for the Baha’i Faith, she was a sociologist, pacifist, feminist, teacher and Baha’i pioneer who from the late 1920s to 1958 served as the spokesperson for the Baha’i Faith in the Spanish-speaking Caribbean, northern South America and Central America prior to being declared a Covenant-breaker.
