Printing and Publication Of Nikou\'s Philosophy

Written by Hassan Nikou

(Azar , 1306)

Interpreted by: Dr. Ali Abul Hassani (Monzar)

Haj Mirza Nikou was from Broujerd originally (1259-1342) was good at Persian , Arabic , English and Urdu languages. He was teaching theology and persian literature in high schools of Tehran. Like Ayati, Nikou was one of outstanding missioners and authors of Baha\'ism. They turned against Baha\'ism and turned to Shiism together simultaneously. Nikou wrote \"philosophy of Nikou\" against the Colonial faith.

He revealed that baseless and nefarious Colonial party. Mirza Hassan Nikou wrote a favorable eroticism about the book \"Alkavakeb-al-Dariah\" written by Ayati (Avareh). Its text was published at the end of second volume of Alkavakeb (pages 336-338).

They were destined to help each other in order to reveal the nature of Bahai faith and its heads after turning to Islam.

Meanwhile, Hassan Nikou was as brave as Ayati and had a tendency to tell the truth at the time of his presence among Bahai\'s. An example of his tendency to tell the truth is obvious in the following story (Nikou himself has narrated it):

When I was among Bahai\'s and I proselytized for them. I moved from Mumbai and entered Rangoun , seyyed Jenab Ali\'s- the chairman of Bahai coterie – brother disagreed with another Bahai who visited \"Aka\" about this issue.

One of them said: Mirza [Hossein Ali Nouri] and Mirza Abbas[=Abbas Afandi]… were present in group prayer and Friday prayer and they conformed to Aka and Heyfa Imam.

The other one said: what an accusation! How can a person who revoke group and Friday prayer in the book \"Aghdas\" and has proposed another prayer, say revoked prayer in group. Surely, this is an ignorant action. They must prevent prayer leader of \"Aka\" to do this action and call him to worship idols , he would go to mosque to say group prayer. They bet. They said that a telegraph has received and written that Hassan Nikou will arrive here in two days from Mumbai. Anything he says is true. When I arrived at Rangoun, they came to me. One of them furiously said: Mr Nikou, listen to a strange accusation. This man says Baha and Abbas Afandi had gone to Islamic mosque and said revoked group prayer. Is it true? I smiled and said: Yes, additionally they were fast all lunar month of Ramadan. That person fainted and understood what was needed.

Then I added: But in the late years when Mirza had become old and weak, Bahai\'s from \"Aka\" gathered before Ramadan and wrote for Mirza (…Mirza didn’t let them to visit him. They wrote their needs for him) that we know your Excellency suffer fasting for the people\'s sake. We don’t know, maybe we are opposed because of eating fast breaking meal. If people know that we have another faith except Islam they will kill us. Now, we - as your slaves-swear by you and your temper that we will be fast all the lunar month of Ramadan on the condition that you don’t suffer from fasting the next day, Mirza called them and said we sent your writing to the highest status to be visited. It takes fifteen days to go and fifteen days to come back. It implies that I am afraid that I break a fast and you don’t be fast and the Muslims become aware of our faith and kill us.

Meshkin Ghalam who was one of outstanding Bahai\'s said: Our tale is similar to the tale of that boy whose prayer was reversed. He wished his mother to die in order for his father to get married with a young woman. In this case both of them could enjoy the young woman. Accidently, his father died and his mother got married with a burly man who bothered both of them. We also became Bahai to get rid of Ramadan. Now we must be fast for 30 days of Ramadan and the Day of Great Month, too. Those 30 days for the fear of being killed and that day for love of Mirza. (Mirza says in Aghdas: obey my orders for love of me)

Nikou adds: listen to this utterance that how easily that man turned against Bahai sect because of my honesty. Other Bahai\'s protested that why did you tell the truth that made him turn against Bahai faith? I answered: you didn’t protest to the agents of this action that are Mirza and his son that why did they say the revoked prayer but you protest me why I told the truth. Why is discord rational for you but honesty isn’t. Moreover, the finality of a faith which is based on telling lies is obvious. Lankarani contributed in printing and publishing the book \"Nikou\'s philosophy\". A large number of short sale tickets for \"Nikou\'s philosophy book remained in Lankarani documents indicate his contribution in publishing the book.

The first volume of the book \"Nikou\'s philosophy\" was published in \"Khavar Tehran\" printing office in 1306 and the second volume in Tir, 1307 (in the same printing office), the third volume in Mehr, 1310 (Farhoum and Printing office in Tehran) and the fourth volume was published in Farvardin, 1325 (in Taban Printing office) meanwhile, the first volume was translated to English language. Late Seyyed Hossein Ghazvini Haeri (Ayat Allah Saheb Zavabet\'s offspring) one of Lankarani\'s friends and one of Anti-England (Z.A) secret party members wrote a criticism which was published at the end of the first volume of \"Nikou\'s philosophy\".

Lankarani and his fellow fighters’ campaign against Baha’ism in 1300s was a political movement against the influence of the agents of this sect in the government of Reza Khan and his army and an attempt to eliminate them out of the government officials because they were considered as arms for Zionism and Colonialism of Britain and dealt with third of Isfand coup in 1919 contract, in addition to answering some doubts of Bahai\'s across the extensive and increasing bustle of Bahai\'s during white cope in 1299 and the years before and after it including some of its examples: 13th of Day, 1300 (at the end of Ghavam-al-Saltaneh\'s premiership) Mirza Badi\'a Allah Khan Bahai (the guardian of governmental granary) insults to Holy Prophet( peace be upon him and his descendents) and then he is bawled and slapped hard on the face by A\'azam-al-vezarah (one of employees and one of old constitutionalists). Badia’ Allah Khan asked minister Mouritor (the American chairman of granary) to fire him from governmental service. This action caused for the Muslims who worked at Granary and Foodstuff Office (most of its employees were Bahai )to riot .Incursion of Bahai’s in grain office was something that relates to Badia’ Allah Khan and that period of time and ,for instance, in the years after 20th of Shahriver the chairman of store–pit office (in Milespou’s period of time) who was in charge of managing the wheat of Tehran and also Samandarian the manager of hardsuger ,suger and tea were Bahai .

So Lankarani’s opposition to Dr . Milespou in the 14th parlimend was that why has he allowed the members of this made party to accomplish activities against Islam by assigning important posts to them. The devastating presence and influence of Bahai’s weren’t limited to granary, they were busy achieving their fatal intentions by penetrating in all pillars of government from Ministry of Education and Police to other offices. Concerning their influence in the important Ministry of Education ,it is better to Listen to Seyyed Mohammad Kamarehee’s (the leader of anti establishing democrats ) statement .He writes in his memoirs related to Cabinet periods of time ,3 rd of Jamadi –al- ssani 1334 :

\"…Montanser- aldduleh [employed in ministration] saw Ma’aref and said: Kaspar Ipakian a columnist of [the newspaper] Ra\'ad has become in charge of interrogating Ma\'aerf and Nasir-aldduleh [the minister of Vosough-aldduleh] is often with him in private and is ready to serve him like a valet. He has appointed Bahai\'s as interrogators of male and female schools including Mrs, Ashaghi , Ibn Asdagh\'s wife or Abhi and Mrs , Monireh and etc. were appointed for female schools and other Bahai\'s for male schools. He is responsible for the policy of ministry of education and the Armenian themselves say that Kaspar Ipakian is Babi and doesn’t belong to our faith.\"

After 3rd of Isfand English coup and founding Seyyed Zia\'addin Tabatabaee\'s Anghophil government, the influence of mentioned elements became extremely severe. Some of them entered even in government council. Ali Mohammad Khan Mougher-aldduleh who was one of members of Seyyed Zia\'a\'s black Cabinet was Ali Mohammad Bab\'s maternal relative. Explaining about opposition of the Armenian of Dashnak and … with the Muslims of Iran and Ottaman, Mirza Hassan Nikou one of Bahai missioners writes: \"when Seyyed Zia\'a Tabatabee came to power and wanted to establish municipality and when Ipakian came to power, he employed some of Bahai\'s who were fired from education ministry immediately. He also employed some people in the City Hall whereas there are thousands of people who were more merited and qualified. It is surprising that Bahai\'s were active in finding and introducing Reza Khan to the English. History has distinctly recorded the name and key role of Habib Allah Khan Ein-almolk (Amir Abbas Hoveyda\'s Father). It is worth to say that Ein-almolk who was General in Iran\'s consul in Syria in the period of seyyed Zia\'s (political leader of third Isfand coup) prime ministership praised the coup and called seyyed Zia\'a as one of \"the great and influential men\" of Iran who is quite merited for revitalizing the historical spirit of Iran and improving the Iranian… in an interview with Lesan-al-Arab newspaper in Farvardin the 6th, 1300 (e.i.: twelve days after the coup) (Syria 16th of Rajab 1339). He added that we have been friends for 12 years (that is, he was Seyyed Zia\'s friend at the beginning of second parliamentary). There were some rumors that indicated Reza Khan was dependent to Bahai\'s.

In such sensitive condition, Lankarani and his friends tried to repel Bahai\'s in Reza Khan\'s regime by their political communication and measures. They were almost successful. Late Seyyed Abdullah Sayyar Gha\'em Maghami who was Late Lankarani\'s old friend declared in 14th of Ordibehesht 1373):

Abdul Hossein Ayati was a literature teacher. He published a magazine called \"Namakdan\". He was declaring about Bahai\'s tricks. Later on, he was transmitted to Yazd in Mohammad Reza Pahlavi`s periods of time (apparently, Bahai’s were responsible for his transmission from Tehran to Yazd). In the summer when the schools were canceled, he came to Tehran and held weekly meeting with Late Nikou, Sobhi and others.

Ayati\'s book called \"Kashf-al Hial\" was given to Reza Khan by Mr, Lankarai\'s intermediation. They lauded it. Reza Khan condescended him, too.

The evidence of this issue in colonel Dargahi\'s (the chief executive of police) letter to Ayati (18th of Mordad, 1306) which was published at first page of the first volume of the book \"Kashf-al-Hial\". Announcing about receiving of the book by the king, Dargahi declared King\'s thank to Ayati. Another evidence is that around a month after publishing Bahai missioner book that is in Ordibehesht, 1306 and in the presence of Ayat Allah Khalesi, Yad Allah Khan Bigdelou (a person in charge of weapons in king Reza\'s regime) has asked for some of the books. Mr, Ali Akbar A\'alam (Lankarani and Khalesi Zadeh\'s friend) writes for Lankarani in 17th of Ordibehsht, 1306:

\"Yad Allah Khan Bigdelou who is in charge of weapons of His Majesty….asked me for ten or twenty volumes of the missioner of Bahai books to send for him.

Ali Akbar A\'alam\'s letter to Lankarani concerning asking for some volumes of bahai missior books by Bigdelou who is in charge of weapons in Reza Khan\'s government .
