The extraordinary laws of Kitab Aqdas

All the divine religion like Judaism, Christianity, and Islam etcetera were based on one common platform which was:---

1. A Prophet from God.

2. His Message, Character and Teachings.

3. His Book of Law.

In my previous posts I have compiled from history about the leaders of Baha’i faith, their characters, their claims and their household politics, now let us see a book which is supposed to be a guide for mankind for last  1000 years, as Baha’u’llah had announced that he had abrogated all previous religion laws, and there would be no manifestation for next 1000 years and currently we are approaching 170 Badieh year, so let us see what this book of law contains for next 830 years.

Before reading some of extraordinary laws made by Baha’u’llah, let us see the publishing history of this book.

Baha’u’llah had written this book in around 1873 in Arabic, and this book was first translated into English in 1961 by Elder and Miller. An informal English translation by Anton Haddad was available by few western Baha’is in 1900. But the publication in England by the Royal Asiatic Society was not welcomed by Baha’i administration who were centered in Haifa, Israel, This was for obvious reason that the release of text in any unadulterated form would have damaged the religion’s prospect in the west. After Elder, Miller’s translation was published in 1961 western Baha’is were kept in dark about its existence. Baha’i administration did not want western Baha’is to read this bizarre book of law and raise questions, they wanted that by deepening and Tablet’s of Sir Abbas Effendi their hunger for religion to  subside, they made them busy in singing songs, and chanting tablets, they were buying time, if Elder, Miller and Hadad would have not translated, for sure this book would have been purged by divine Universal House of Justice, and would have denied even the existence of such book.
Not because they wanted to hide the teaching of Baha’u’llah but were not able to explain the bizarre laws of Aqdas, that’s why they titled it “Most Holy Book”, means respect it but do not read it.
Here I would like to remind readers that, Holy Universal House of Justice has given explanation that it has to be read from official translation, my answer is, a translation is a translation, other than Universal House of Justice there are millions of people who knows Arabic, here we are not talking about interpretation, and Interpretation of Baha’u’llah’s writing is prohibited.

As he mentioned in Kitab Aqdas. Verses 37

من يأوّل هذه الاية أو يفسّرها بغير ما نزّل في الظّاهر انّه محروم من روح الله ورحمته الّتي سبقت العالمينõ

“Whoso layeth claim to a Revelation direct from God, ere the expiration of a full thousand years, such a man is assuredly a lying impostor. We pray God that He may graciously assist him to retract and repudiate such claim. Should he repent, God will, no doubt, forgive him. If, however, he persisteth in his error, God will, assuredly, send down one who will deal mercilessly with him. Terrible, indeed, is God in punishing! Whosoever interpreteth this verse otherwise than its obvious meaning is deprived of the Spirit of God and of His mercy which encompasseth all created things. Fear God, and follow not your idle fancies. Nay, rather, follow the bidding of your Lord, the Almighty, the All-Wise. Erelong shall clamorous voices be raised in most lands. Shun them, O My people, and follow not the iniquitous and evil-hearted. This is that of which We gave you forewarning when We were dwelling in &Iraq, then later while in the Land of Mystery, and now from this Resplendent Spot.”

In short for 88 years the English speaking Baha’is were exempted in following their religious duty and were free to disobey the commandment of Baha’u’llah.

Universal House of Justice has given twist and turns to a translation on their website, but as Baha’u’llah commanded “Interpreter will be deprived from sprit of God and His mercy. So let us go by the clear understanding of verses of Kitabe Aqdas.

Let us examine few laws of Kitab-e-Aqdas “The Most Holy Book” which is sufficient for mankind for next 1000 years.

Regarding Furniture of House:

Kitab-e-Aqdas (Arabic Edition) verses 151

كتب عليكم تجديد اسباب البيت بعد انقضآء تسع عشرة سنة كذلك قضي الامر من لدن عليم خبير

“Ye have been enjoined to renew the furnishings of your homes after the passing of each nineteen years”

Now we Baha’is are in dilemma.

It is not clear that…

· If furniture is from expensive wood, and is intact and has some memories attached to it still it requires to be changed after 19 years.

· If the house is destroyed by fire, earthquake  or any other calamity, shall we wait to complete the 19 years or go for new furniture..?

· If the furniture is out of fashion, and is not matching with other house hold items, then what to do..?

· God only knows what was his interest in furniture of Baha’is.

For Burial of Dead:

Kitab-e-Aqdas verses 128

قد حكم الله دفن الاموات في البلّور أو الاحجار الممتنعة او الاخشاب الصّلبة اللّطيفة ووضع الخواتيم 
المنقوشة في اصابعهم انّه لهو المقدّر العليم

“The Lord hath decreed that the dead should be interred in coffins made of crystal, of hard, resistant stone, or of wood that is both fine and durable, and that graven rings should be placed upon their fingers. He, verily, is the Supreme Ordainer, the One apprised of all.”

Here comes dilemma again:

There is no definition for rare stone, and if suppose it is of crystal how people will carry that coffin which will be heavy…?

Here Baha’u’llah says that “coffin of Crystal, or rare stone or beautiful hard woods, it might be rich and wealthy who can use of Crystal and rare stone and poor Baha’i can be buried in beautiful hard wood coffins, then law of “Oneness of Mankind” is for whom..?

Amazing Law of Adultery:

Kitabe Aqdas Verse 49

قد حكم الله لكلّ زانٍ وزانية دية مسلّمة الى بيت العدل وهي تسعة مثاقيل من الذّهب وان عادا مرّة اخرى عودوا 
بضعف الجزآء هذا ما حكم به مالك الاسماء في الاولى وفي الاخرى قدّر لهما عذاب مهين

“God hath imposed a fine on every adulterer and adulteress, to be paid to the House of Justice: nine mithqáls of gold, to be doubled if they should repeat the offence. Such is the penalty which He who is the Lord of Names hath assigned them in this world;”

What a motivation for adultery for Baha’is

· ( 1 misqal= 6.220 grams total of 9 misqal will be 55.98 grams)

· A gold price per gram as of today let say 53.90$ 53.90X55.98 = 3,017.32 $ for one time, and if repeated it will be twice = 6,034.64 $ and after that there is no law so by paying 6,034.64$ you are official adulterer and there will be no more payment, by this wonderful law Baha’u’llah wanted to promote adultery.

· Here I would take this opportunity to congratulate the UHJ for keeping a record of \'such noble acts\' of its members, and filling its bank accounts through this noble way!

· Even he kept in mind future Universal House of Justice, and ordered to pay them the above money for their bread and butter, as they are praying for Huqqoqullah to come, they pray for adultery so that they get lot of money.

· There is no classification for adultery of married and unmarried, what he was concern was nine mithqal of gold, what about if one is rapist, it will come under same law of adulterer..?

· And why money to go to Universal House of Justice..? Why not in making Mashrequl Azkar Temple of God.

An excellent punishment for thief:

Kitabe Aqdas Verse 45

قد كتب على سارق  أنفي و  الحبس وفي الثالث  فاجعلوا في جبينه علامة يعرف بها لئلاّ تقبله مدن 
الله ودياره ايّاكم ان تأخذكم الرّأفة في دين الله اعملوا ما امرتم به من لدن مشفق رحيم

“Exile and imprisonment are decreed for the thief, and, on the third offence, place ye a mark upon his brow so that, thus identified, he may not be accepted in the cities of God and His countries.”

· What we should do Exile him or imprison him..?

· And why to wait for him to commit thrice the same crime, what punishment he should get for first two times, if he robs bank for first time and did not commit the same crime, is it allowed..?

· By putting mark on his forehead will it prevent him from robbery..? Can he remove the same mark by plastic surgery..?

· If he repents for his crime, will Universal House of Justice   come and rub that mark from his forehead..?

· 169 years has passed from this law, did you see any person with the mark..? Every year we know that money of Baha’i’s are been manipulated in all levels of administration, why this law is not been implemented on them..?

Mind blowing law for burning house:

Kitabe Aqdas Verse 62

من احرق بيت متعمدا فأحرقوه

“Should anyone intentionally destroy a house by fire, Burn him also”

· Does  this law requiring any explanation..?

· A person should be burnt alive just for torching  a house, even though it is his own house, in which part of the world this law will be acceptable..?

· Is it a commandment of religion who is propagating peace and harmony..?

· I think Only Baha’u’llah can explain the logic behind this.
