Baha’is start their propaganda of Faith with 12 novel (above mentioned) principle which they claim that are wonders and humanity was in darkness and it was Baha’u’llah who came and brought these divine principle and gifted to humanity.

Let us turn pages of history and see how and when these principles were introduced and really are these principles divine..? And how much Baha’i leaders acted on these principles.

After the death of Baha’u’llah Abdul Baha became the leader and first guardian of faith

He understood the thinking and liking of Western culture from these principles goes back to the time that Abdul Baha resided in the Ottoman lands, specifically when he lived in Baghdad and Istanbul. In those lands he became familiar with a new wave of foreign creeds. He understood that these ideas were new in the East, and could set the grounds for attracting the public, he mixed them with certain Western and Islamic concepts, and put them forth as the Baha’i Principles.

He sent few teachers like Ibrahim George Khairullah, Mirza Ahmad Sohrab, Fazil Mazandarani etc. to teach the faith to American and European, these teachers were attracting western Mob with these Novel principle and mobilizing and motivating the new believers to visit Akka for pilgrimage, and Abdul Baha always showed keen interest personally attending them, and the feedback he used to get from his propagandist about the western culture he realize that people are not having any interest in teaching of Baha’u’llah since there was nothing new and people are not interested in Baha’u’llah’s claim of prophet hood, or his cry of “Surely there is no God but me, the one who is imprisoned in worst condition”

Abdul Baha claimed that his father had gifted humanity with a series of pure principles, the likeness of which could not be found anywhere else. (Khatabat Abdul Baha, Vol. 3 P 78)

When explaining each principle, he would refer to the scattered utterances of his father and try to find words from Baha’u’llah that would relate them to him. However, this effort would never satisfy any seeker of the truth who knew that these principles were not written by Baha’u’llah, but rather compiled years after his demise, by his son, Abdul‐Baha.  In fact opinion of Baha’u’llah is in complete contrast with the opinion of his son. For example, `Abdul‐Baha declared that women and men are equal and neither has an advantage upon the other. (Khatabat Vol. 2 P. 49)

He introduced this kind of thinking as a principle from the principles of Baha’u’llah, but in reality, in the opinion of Baha’u’llah, men are without a doubt superior to women.

“The question of a lady was asked in the presence of his Holiness (Baha’u’llah) which had said that no woman had ever been sent [as a prophet] from God and all of the divine manifestations were men.

He answered, ‘Even though women are equal in talent and power, but there is no doubt men are superior and stronger. Even in animals like pigeons, sparrows, peacocks, and the like, this distinction can be seen.” Riyaḍ Qadimi, Gulzar ta`alim Baha’i, 2nd ed. P 288

The Baha’i leaders have spoken at such length describing these principles that it is as if they are the only path to salvation for humanity.

For example Abdul‐Baha says:

The principles of his Highness Baha’u’llah are comprehensive of all teachings and it is clear and obvious that salvation and success are unfeasible and impossible for humanity without them and every sect in the human race will find their ultimate aspirations present and evident in these heavenly principles. (Khatabat Vol. 3 P. 24)

He also believed that before the birth of Baha’ism, there was no discussion about these principles—at least in Iran. For example he says:

Not even a word of these principles had been heard in Iran before the appearance of Baha’u’llah. Go research about this so that it becomes evident and obvious to you. (Khatabat Vol 3 P. 114)

1‐Did the Baha’i leaders themselves act upon these principles?

2‐Are these principles rational and logical?

The Independent Investigation of the Truth

According to Baha’is, ‘the independent investigation of the truth’ means all people must investigate freely and without prejudice before accepting any belief. They must see with their own eyes, hear with their own ears, and think without any love or hatred towards what they are investigating. Apparently, this is a prescription that only non-Baha’is must adhere to. A detailed study of the actions and sayings of the founders of Baha’ism, shows the contrary:

The Bab orders that no book must be studied but those that he has authored, Baha’u’llah decrees that no knowledge must be attained but that which he has brought, and `Abdu\'l-Baha commands that those who object to his successors must be swiftly excommunicated from the Baha’i community . . .

The Oneness of the World of Humanity

According to Baha’is, ‘the oneness of the world of humanity’ means all humans are like brothers and sisters and color, race, or religion make no one superior over another. Apparently, this concept is only a lure used in their preaches. What can be inferred from the lifestyle of the founders of Baha’ism shows a very different picture:

Baha’u’llah calls Muslim polytheists, and forbids socializing with them and accuses those who have refrained from becoming Baha’is as being animals and illegitimate. He also calls Turks killers and cannibals and believes they must be given ridiculous answers when spoken with. `Abdu\'l-Baha states that black Africans who have not been educated, are cows that God has created with human figures . . .

Religion Must Be the Source of Unity

According to Baha’is, ‘religion must be the source of unity.’ This means if the advent of a certain religion results in differences, fights, and wars, then that religion is worthless and it is better that it does not exist. With this principle in mind, and by studying the sayings and actions of the founders of Baha’ism, we can deduce that it is better if Baha’ism didn’t exist at all because Baha’ism and its predecessor, Babism, were the cause of a great deal of mischief and bloodshed. The Bab, Baha’u’llah, `Abdu\'l-Baha, and Shoghi Effendi all engaged violently with their opponents in a bid to become the leaders of these movements and their efforts sometimes lead to all-out war between them and their rivals. In this regard, Baha’u’llah caused so much hatred and oppression that her sister would say about him: “If Husayn Ali (Baha’u’llah) is the manifestation of Husayn ibn Ali (the third Shia Imam who was ruthlessly murdered by Yazid), then May God Bless the soul of Yazid.”

Religion must be in accord with Science and Reason

According to Baha’is, ‘religion must be in accord with science and reason.’ A religion which contradicts science and reason is not a religion, but merely an illusion. With this principle in mind, and by studying the actions and sayings of the founders of Baha’ism, we can conclude that Baha’ism, itself, is an illusion and not a religion:

Bab orders in his book, Bayan, that all non-Babi books and people must be destroyed. Baha’u’llah approves this very book and expresses that a single letter in it is more dear to him than everything that exists in the skies and the earth. Baha’u’llah also believes that all knowledgeable people who do not become Baha’is are ignorant. His scientific beliefs are even more interesting. He believes that copper turns into gold if kept in a damp mine for seventy years . . .

The Removal of all Prejudice

According to Baha’is, ‘the removal of all prejudice’ means humans must not have any prejudice whether it be religious, racial, national, political, or etc. Apparently, this is a prescription that only non-Baha’is must adhere to, for the founders of Baha’ism themselves practiced extreme prejudice:

The Bab orders that non-Babis must be killed and their belongings confiscated. Baha’u’llah calls Shia Muslims polytheists and prohibits meeting them. He calls all those who do not accept Baha’ism animals and illegitimate. `Abdu\'l-Baha commands that those who object to his successors must be swiftly excommunicated from the Baha’i community and no excuse must be accepted from them . . .

The Spiritual Solution of the Economic Problem

According to Baha’is, ‘the spiritual solution of the economic problem’ means there must be equity between all people and wealth must be distributed in a way that people in all levels of society live a prosperous life. Apparently, this concept is only a lure used in their preaches and the actions of the founders of Baha’ism contradict this belief:

Baha’u’llah allows money to be lent with an interest charge and `Abdu\'l-Baha announces that there is no need to establish equity between all people . . .

The Establishment of the Universal House of Justice

The Universal House of Justice is a council consisting of at least nine men which has been created on the basis of European tribunals to administer the Baha’i population. According to Baha’u’llah, `Abdu\'l-Baha, and Shoghi Effendi, the Universal House of Justice is only legitimate when supervised by a “Guardian (wali amr Allah).” In contrary to what `Abdu\'l-Baha had prophesized, Shoghi Effendi was sterile and had no children (who were supposed to be the Guardians). Thus, after the death of Shoghi, the Baha’is do not have a “Guardian” and the Universal House of Justice has no legal basis.

Universal Compulsory Education

‘Universal compulsory education’ means all the people of the world must be forcefully taught and educated using identical and common guidelines. Apparently, this concept is only a lure used in their preaches and the actions of the founders of Baha’ism contradict this belief: Although `Abdu\'l-Baha had prohibited that Baha’is be sent to non-Baha’i schools, he sent his own grandson, Shoghi Effendi, to many different non-Baha’i schools and institutions. With respect to “the compulsory education” they had in mind, it suffices to say that even with these educations, the manners of the founders of this faith were such that they would call their opponents donkey, fly, mosquito, worm, owl, wolf . . . every time they had a quarrel.

A Universal Language

According to Baha’is, ‘a universal language’ is needed so that people use a single common language instead of learning many different ones. Apparently, this concept is only a lure used in their teachings and the actions of the founders of Baha’ism contradict this belief. Until now, no language has been introduced by the Baha’i administration as the universal language they have always preached and contrary to what they claim, Baha’u’llah and `Abdu\'l-Baha have ordered their followers to learn Espranto, Persian, Arabic, English and German . . .

The Equality of Men and Women

According to Baha’is, ‘the equality of men and women’ means all men and women must enjoy equal rights and status. Although this is one of their most preached teachings, it is also one which their founders least adhered to:

Baha’u’llah explicitly states that men are preferred over women. He also says that men can practice polygamy (and women can’t), women have a lower share in inheritance, women are not allowed to perform the Baha’i Hajj pilgrimage, and women cannot be a member of the Universal House of Justice . .

Universal Peace

According to Baha’is, ‘universal peace’ means that under no circumstances must nations fight with each-other and a superpower must supervise all nations to make sure this principle is followed. Apparently, this concept is only a lure used in their preaches and the actions of the founders of Baha’ism contradict this belief, because the Bab, Baha’u’llah, `Abdu\'l-Baha, and Shoghi Effendi all fought with their opponents and in some cases caused death and bloodshed. Baha’u’llah tells his followers to be fire for his opponents and `Abdu\'l-Baha prescribes war as a way of achieving peace.

Humanity Is in Need of the Blessings of the Holy Spirit

According to Baha’is, ‘humanity is in need of the blessings of the Holy Spirit.’ This means the human society is always in need of a religion and divine revelations. Since people’s needs change as time passes, new religions and prophets must come and go. Baha’is use this teaching to prove that Bab and Baha’u’llah were prophets (or manifestations) who came when the world needed a new religion. Ironically, this teaching is only applicable to the prophets that came before Baha’u’llah and not to himself. Baha’u’llah swears that there will be no new prophets or religions after him but after 1000 years, and during this 1000 years the humanity is without Holy Spirit.
