Baha’u’llah Ali Nouri own writing is very disorganized !!
By: Henry
Baha’u’llah wrote in a very unconventional disorganized way- making it very difficult to read and translate.
The Arabic-Persian writings of Baha’u’llah (his own hand writing) use certain items that are time consuming to decipher- specially when there is a “flight of thoughts†and that there are grammatical-syntactic changes.
I am aware  of a Persian lady who is in her 70′s now, and  who had worked in Haifa- UHJ- to classify and translate important points of Baha’u’llah Tablets. In the latter part of her career- by the late 1990′s, she developed severe paranoia and has now full blown schizophrenia.
It is extremely unexpected and baffling to see the appearance of schizophrenia in this ELDERLY Iranian Baha’i lady. She had spent most of her life working at UHJ on the Tablets of Baha’u’llah. During moments of lucidity, she had commented how difficult it was to read Baha’u’llah writings. It is written in a strange style- very disorganized. The writings of Baha’u’llah (when written by himself) can be compared to the “flight of ideas†seen in schizophrenic patients.
This elderly lady was then transferred to the Home for The Aged (Baha’i Nursing Home) in Chicago, Illinois to continue her treatments for schizophrenia (at the request of UHJ in Israel).
Unfortunately, the US NSA closed down the Home for the Aged a few years ago. This lady’s family (very prominent Iranian Baha’is) have refused to care for her in light of her advanced paranoia- schizophrenia.
The US NSA under order of UHJ has now placed this Iranian Baha’i lady in another nursing home, and pay full price for her stay and for her medical care.
This Iranian Baha’i lady developed schizophrenia extremely late in life- extremely rare except in people who have other concomittant diseases.
It is suspected that her line of work- namely reading the original Baha’u’llah’s writings caused her so much stress- and led to the development of mental disorder. Here is information from the British Journal of Psychiatry:
“Lower level of Family Stress Reduces Risk of Schizophrenia. Risk of getting schizophrenia (for children genetically predisposed schizophrenia) can be up to 800% higher in high stress “dysfunctional families†vs. low stress households. Research suggests that that high levels of stress (of any type) significantly increases the incidence of schizophrenia and related brain disorders. In the February, 2004 issue of the British Journal of Psychiatry a study looked at adopted children from families that have a history of schizophrenia and stated that:
“The information suggests the protective effect of being reared in a healthy adoptive family, with the risk for these high-genetic-risk adoptees developing schizophrenia in healthy families at 1.49% compared with 13% for those reared in “dysfunctional†families. This lends significant support to the stress and hereditary predisposition model of the cause of schizophrenia, in which environmental stressors have a particularly harmful impact only on individuals with a genetic vulnerability.â€
When I inquired about Dr. Maneck’s use of Omega-3, I thought about the possibility of more severe psychiatric disorders- as those who have been able to read entire original Tablets of Baha’u’llah have occasionally developped a case of severe schizophrenia.
I hope that this clarifies the issue of language expertise in relation to translations of original Baha’u’llah Tablets.
