Why do False Prophets praise the West so much?
It is no surprise that the false prophets have been lavish in their praises of the governments of the West. Perhaps this is because they have got support from there only. This is despite the fact that from a culture point of view, from a Shariat (law) point of view, the West is completely against the teachings of these false prophets.
An example of this is the prayer of Abdul Baha (the son of Bahaullah, the founder of the Baha’i Faith) when he went to America in 1912. The American culture promotes alcohol and pork (which the Baha’i Faith forbids). It is also one of the biggest advocates of homosexuality (which the Baha’i Faith is silent about). Nevertheless, America is a supporter of global democracy, albeit selectively (very like the Baha’is who like to protest only against Iran and no other country).
America asks for democracy in Iraq, but never in Saudi Arabia or the UAE etc.). America has destroyed countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Palestine, Iraq, Syria etc. Yet despite all of this, you will never find the Baha’is saying anything against the American government. On the contrary, you will always find them praising the governments. Incidentally, I came across this link on Google Books about a senator who claims that the Baha’i Faith actually has a lobbying office in Washington with an annual budget of US$ 400,000. So much for Baha’is not interfering in Government matters! Very typically hypocritical of them…
He is the prayer of Abdul Baha for America. I hope my Muslim brothers and sisters recognize this as a prayer for a country which is responsible directly or indirectly for the death of millions of Muslims….
“O Thou kind Lord! This gathering is turning to Thee. These hearts are radiant with Thy love. These minds and spirits are exhilarated by the message of Thy glad-tidings. O God! Let this American democracy become glorious in spiritual degrees even as it has aspired to material degrees, and render this just government victorious. Confirm this revered nation to upraise the standard of the oneness of humanity, to promulgate the Most Great Peace, to become thereby most glorious and praise-worthy among all the nations of the world. O God! This American nation is worthy of Thy favors and is deserving of Thy mercy. Make it precious and near to Thee through Thy bounty and bestowal.
~ ‘Abdu’l-Baháâ€
If the God of the Baha’is cannot make the distinction between right as wrong, between truth and falsehood, then who needs the Baha’i Faith?
