Abdul Baha’s prayers for America

I was recently surfing the Internet and came across this “prayer” of Abdul Baha (son of Bahaullah, the founder of the Baha’i Faith) for the land of America. This prayers was made in 1912 when Abdul Baha travelled to America. A Baha’i website says that “Abdul Baha called on America to become a land of spiritual distinction and leadership and gave a powerful vision of America’s spiritual destiny — to lead the way in establishing the oneness of humanity.”

The prayer goes like this:

“O Thou kind Lord!
This gathering is turning to Thee.
These hearts are radiant with Thy love.
These minds and spirits are exhilarated by the message of Thy glad-tidings.

O God! Let this American democracy become glorious in spiritual degrees
even as it has aspired to material degrees, and render this just government victorious.

Confirm this revered nation to upraise the standard of the oneness of humanity,
to promulgate the Most Great Peace, to become thereby most glorious and praise-worthy among all the nations of the world.

O God! This American nation is worthy of Thy favors and is deserving of Thy mercy.
Make it precious and near to Thee through Thy bounty and bestowal.”

I read this and my first reaction was, what a farce! This confirms what is generally believed about the Baha’i community. They are happy to turn a blind eye to anything and to anyone as long as that thing or person works in their favor. So you will never hear them say anything negative about America or Israel or any Western country. Ask them about this and they will say that they don’t interfere in politics. But then they have a lot to say about Iran. What hypocrisy! Anyways, it is no secret that the Baha’i Faith was an unknown entity as long as it was limited to Persia. In fact they were almost finished in Persia. It is only after America welcomes them with open arms that the Baha’i Faith came to known in the outside world.

The Baha’i Faith has reciprocated in kind – they relaxed the rules of the Baha’i Faith regarding marriage and adultery for America and now wonder of wonders – they even have a lobbying office in Washington!

Not surprisingly, you have the false prophet, Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani praising the Queen of Great Britan as well. I say not surprisingly because undoubtedly, these were the very countries that sowed the seeds of dissension in the Muslim community through the fitna of Baha’i and Qadiani.
