Baha’i faith’s valuable ‘contribution’ to science

One of the Baha’i Principles is that Religion Must Be in Conformity With Science And Reason. The Baha’is, as is their wont, claim that this gem of a value was first introduced by Mirza Hussein AKA Bahā’u’llāh.
On Page 455 of the book The Promulgation of Universal Peace, Bahā’u’llāh is quoted as saying:
“Furthermore, He proclaims that religion must be in harmony with science and reason. If it does not conform to science and reconcile with reason, it is superstition…”
The Baha’is, one must say, suffer from selective amnesia. They have conveniently forgotten that the Holy Quran revealed by God on His Last Divine Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.), is in total conformity and harmony with science.
There are various verses of Quran which in few lines explain complex scientific findings the ones which scientists keep endorsing time after time.
For instance, the very first line of the Noble Book reads, ‘All Praise is due to God, The Lord of the Worlds.’
The verse clearly implies that there are more earths like ours out there and it was only recently the media reported that scientists have spotted earth like planet not far away from our galaxy.
Not only Quran, but Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) himself said that He is the City of Knowledge and His successor, Imam Ali is its gate.
The Islamic history is dotted with great personalities who with the help of Quran and Prophetic traditions kept turning new chapters with time. Those who ply their wares in chemistry, swear by the name of Jabir ibn Hayyan, who was one of the 4000 pupil from Prophet’s grandson Jafar As-Sadeq’s school in Madina.
The west call Jabir father of chemistry for his work in the field of chemistry. There are countless such examples of Islam being in total conformity with science.
But here, we would like to stop and point out a few illogical, ridiculous and foolish contributions the founders of Baha’i faith have made to the field of science.
Following are scientific gems which Bahā’u’llāh and `Abdu’l-Bahā have left behind as gifts to the Babis.

Nuclear Physics:
Coppers transmutes into Gold after 70 years!
“For instance, consider the substance of copper. Were it to be protected in its own mine from becoming solidified, it would, within the space of seventy years, attain to the state of gold,” Bahā’u’llāh, The Kitāb-i-Īqān, p. 157.
Both convex and concave mirrors focus light in a real point that creates great heat! (`Abd al-Ḥamīd Ishrāq Khāwarī, Ayyām tis`a, p. 324.)

Geology:
The Earth’s age (world’s age) is several thousand years!
(Bahā’u’llāh, Gleanings from the Writings of Bahā’u’llāh, p. 163)

Biology:
Some creatures are created by spontaneous generation!

There is absolutely no difference and distinction between male and female plants and animals!

Chemistry:
Plants survive on a watery element called carbon and hydrogen that comes from the mouth of animals!

Astronomy:
The Sun is Stationary, Fixed, and Ever Occupies the Same Space!
(`Abdu’l-Bahā, The Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 417)

Humanitarianism:
The more oppressed that you are the better.
(Bahā’u’llāh, Iqtidārāt wa chand lauḥ dīgar, p. 127)
Do not protest to oppressors. (`Abd al-Ḥamīd Ishrāq Khāwarī, Mā’idiy-i āsimānī, vol. 8, p. 44.)
Self-victimize yourself by not defending yourself. (J. E. Esslemont, Bahā’u’llāh and the New Era, pp. 169–170.)

History:
“Empedocles was a contemporary of David and Pythagoras lived in the days of Solomon.”
Tablets of Bahā’u’llāh Revealed After the Kitāb-i-Aqdas, p. 145.
(Empedocles lived between 490–440 BC whilst David lived between 1040–970 BC. There are about 500 years of difference between these dates. Pythagoras lived between 570–495 BC whilst Solomon lived between 970–931 BC. The difference between these two is also about 500 years.)

Geography:
Christopher Columbus discovered America using his reason.

The examples above clearly show how shallow and nonsensical the Baha’i Faith is and then to say that religion should be in conformity with science is nothing but hypocrisy of the highest degree.
