Arresting and the trial of an Iranian Baha’i penalized due to proselytizing for Baha’ism faith in Yemena
Bahaismiran: An Iranian Baha’i was tried in court due to proselytizing for Baha’ism faith and “spying for Israelâ€. Hamid Reza Kamali Sarvestani has been busy proselytizing for Baha’ism faith, according to public prosecutor of Sana’a.
According to Saba news agency, the accused person was arrested in Moukla a city in the south east of Yemena. He was tried to make Muslims of Yemena Baha’i ones. According to the public prosecutor of Sana’a has been busy trading by establishing a private company having a forged identity.
He has been in touch with the universal house of justice in Israel and has been busy preaching the Baha’i faith in Yemena.
The public prosecutor of Sana’a has accused Mr. Sarvestani in the bill of indictment that he has led the Muslim poor people to the Baha’ism faith and he has proselytized for the Baha’i faith through the internet and holding conferences.
According to the universal community of Baha’ism nearly 250 Baha’is are living in Yemena and are allowed to do their religious duties.
