10) The cult language:

Cult has its own language. The cult leader invents new words for many topics. He/she changes the meanings of words and defines them again to present different definitions. At the beginning of their arrivals, the cult members must be familiarized with the cult language in order to understand the cult leader’s teachings. The new language separates the world. The new member concludes that just the cult members can figure him/her out and he/she bears this feeling as long as he/she has joined the cult.

11) Intellectual inspiration


The intellectual inspiration with the members is one of the conditions of the brainwash and the mental control of the cult leader. In order to inspire intellectual by the cult leaders, there are many ways:

- Establishing the meeting for studying the holy texts of the cult

- Giving lectures by the leader and being obligatory for the members to be present

- Studying the writing written by the cult leader

- Listening to the audio tapes

- Watching films regarding the cult speech

12) The lack of advancement in the cult

Based on the beliefs in the cults, the leader’s knowledge is expansive and nobody is able to be equal to his knowledge. Because the mere source of knowledge, receiving massage and trainings in the cult is leader; consequently nobody has completed and graduated his/her training so far.

13) Becoming similar:

The members of the cult, as the leader or the more ancient members of the cult, should come to terms with their new identities; that is, the cult members will eventually become the copy their leader in actions, speeches and thoughts.

14) Exploiting sexually in the cult:

One the most common issues in the cult is the sexual misuses. In some cults, it poses as one of the purposes of the leader for establishing a cult. Sex impurenesses among some cult leaders is common. Having several wives, spiritual wives, illegitimate marriages, sexual sins and fornications are of issues which have been confirmed in the cults.

Woman who turn to the cults are willing to be close to the cult leader. In this way, they will have more strength. The cult leader misuses their emotions and will exploit them sexually.

15) The private characteristics of the leader:

The cult leaders are usually deceptive, charismatic and intelligent. Most of the cult leaders suffer from personal abnormalities. They enjoy the members being with them. Nevertheless, their personality can be changed dramatically in a moment. The cult leaders are disturbed people who are usually victims who have changed into disturbers. In their biographies, they have become members in other religious political and social cults or they have suffered from damages in their infantile period of time.

The cult leaders are obsessive, bigot people who have exploit members financially or sexually.

16) The leader, a ruler without being supervised

The cult leaders don’t answer anybody and don’t allow anybody to select or elect truly. In their group, there isn’t any counsellor or managers in order to supervise the leader’s speeches.

17) The leader, the source of reality

The cult leader is the source of reality, wisdom and knowledge. The cult leader’s knowledge is free from the materialistic source; that is the cult leaders don’t introduce any source for knowledge; but they have acquired it through invisible inspirations or they have legendary master or masters.

18) The competition among members:

In order to attract the cult leader’s attention or to gain better position in group, everybody loves to be a member of inner circle. In this circumstance, the cult leader tries to maintain his/her control over the cult.

19) The secret source of the leader:

The cult train the members to pray to receive the leader’s messages and it claims that just the leader can make you figure out the reality. He/she is able to communication with what is beyond better. Since he has made his/her perceptions pure and you haven’t done it so. Consequently he/she creates a closed system.

20) Exaggeration and exaggerating claims:

In order to achieve their aims, the cults should select several ways to attract and keep the cult members. Consequently, to achieve this aim, the cults overstate. They introduce the cult leader as heavenly one.
