The commemoration of Iraj Afshar in the eve of his 90th birthday
A summit for commemorating 90th birthday of Iraj Afshar will be held by the national library on 19th of Mehr. Also, the book called “the Iranian sagacious man†will be shown to people for the first time.

“Iraj Afshar†is a so-called “Iranist†who is close to Baha’is who has cooperated with “the Iranian studies foundation (headed by Afshar Pahlavi) after the revolution. It is worthy to be noted that late “Jalal Al Ahmad†called Iraj Afshar the support of Baha’is in an important note on Aban, 1345. He said Iraj Afshar had helped one of the members of the board of trustees of “the Iranian culture foundation†on Azar, 15th, 1356 in a command issued by Farah Pahlavi. Manouchehr Iqbal was replaced by him. He had a closed relationship with the Pahlavi court and Ehsan Yar Shater and Taqi Zadeh and etc.
