The Man Who Exposed the Bhai Cults Fraud Abdul Husain Aayati

Abdul Husain Aayati lived amongst the Baha’is for 20 years and served them through these years. He was popularly known as "Awareh" which means the one who wandered about in love (of Bahaullah). After these years, he saw the corruptions of the Baha’is first hand, renounced the Baha’i Faith and finally reverted back to Islam. Thereafter he wrote the book "Kashful Heel" to reveal the true face and hypocrisy of the Baha’is. The life history of Awareh is full of interesting events and episodes and all of these cannot be outlined in this brief treatise. However, in order to appreciate his book - Kashful heel - it is first important to understand his personality. Here is a brief about Awareh.

Who was Abdul Husain Aayati?

He was a littérateur, historian, writer, translator, journalist and a great poet. His father was Allamah Haaj Shaikh Mohammad, famous as "Haaj Aakhwant Tafti". He was the grandchild of Sheikh Mohammad who was famous as "Aaqa Bururg" Tafti Yazdi. He came from an illustrious family of scholars from Yazd. Abdul Husain Aayati was born in 8th Zilhaj 1287 AH in Taft. At the young age of 15 years, he came to Yazd and attended the school of Khan Buzurg. He completed his study of Arabic grammar and language, logic and bayan from Meer Bahauddin Jandaqi Mulla Abdul Karim Misgar and Mulla Akber Nadushi. In the year 1313, after his father‘s death, he rose to the position of his father on the insistence of the people of Yazd. He was considered as a religious authority and as a man of knowledge ("Ahle Minbar wa mahrab"). He was the Imam (leader) of two masjids (mosques) and used to handle the affair of the people.

HIs initial contact with Bahais and the Bahai Faith

In the year 1320, at the age of 33 he was introduced to a Bahai book. The books made such an impression upon him that he was eager to meet them. He came in contact with members of the Bahai Faith and even stayed in those areas which were largely occupied by Bahais. He met with some prominent Bahai speakers. They appointed some Bahais to have regular contact publicly with Abdul Husain Aayati so that they could lower his esteem in the eyes of the people, while others alleged that he had inclined towards the Bahai Faith. Due to these accusations, people distanced themselves from him due to which he left his birthplace. Considering this move as an opportunity, Bahais tried to attract him and were successful in that for after some time he declared the Bahais Faith. However as time passed, he realized that Bahais were not correct and then reverted to Islam.

His ascent in the Bahai community

He migrated from Yazd to its surrounding areas. Gradually, on account of his powerful oratory and his effective writings he became famous amongst the Bahais. He occupied a high position among them and was known as "Raeesul Muballageen" (the leader of the preachers). Any person with some knowledge of the Bahai history will know the eminent status of "Awareh" - some even consider him equal to the position of Mirza Abul Fazl Gulpaygani whereas others consider him even above this. The tablet issued by Abdul Baha containing words which are lavish in praise of Awareh is testimony to the fact that the above statement is not out of place. Indeed Abdul Baha testified and considered Awareh to be foremost amongst the orators and people of knowledge.

While Bahais use different techniques to attract and convert people to the Bahai Faith, they have always relied on the popularity of one personality to attract people. They offer more respect to leaders, good writers and knowledgeable men and value the influence of such people immensely. Awareh writes about himself - "when my relatives distanced themselves from me, Bahais accepted me whole heartedly and gave me the post of writer for Rasht." After 10 months in Rasht, he came back to Tehran. Then they decided to establish a religious school in Irdistan. Subsequently, they sent him to Kashan for establishing a religious school. In this clandestine (and hypocritical) manner, Bahais initiated their preaching all over Iran. This was the time when Abdul Husain Aayati caught the attention of Abdul Baha. In a short period of one year, Abdul Baha issued 3-4 tablets in his name whereas other Bahai orators could not obtain even a single tablet in their lifetime except 2-3 people who were like Awareh.

This attention was a motivation for Awareh and made him that that in a short span of time he could rise in their ranks. In one of his tablets, Abdul Baha addressed him as Awareh (one who wanders about in love of Bahaullah) and appreciated him. From this date onwards he was known as Awareh. It should be known that he was a good poet and in his youth he was titled as "ziyaa’ee" by his father. After becoming Bahai, he was titled as "Awareh" by Abdul Baha.

About this he write down as follows: "Abdul Baha titled me as "Awareh" as he did not like the word "ziyaa" since his brother name was "Ziyaullah" and he was totally against Abdul Baha".

In another Tablet Abdul Baha praised Abdul Husain Aayati in the following words: "Oh the one who is similar to my name Abdul Baha. You are Abdul Husain and I am Abdul Baha."

The Truth will be out. Always.

After 4 years of declaring the Bahai Faith, in 1325, he was sent to Akka for meeting Abdul Baha. He stayed with Abdul Baha and his close aides for 80 days. He writes about these days as follows: "I met one of his close aides and came to know that Bahais had 2-3 close associates in every city who work for the Faith; who know their secrets well; who send the report of the activities in their cities to Akka and based on these reports, Bahais make their further planning".

In the first 3 months he discovered the reality of the Bahai Faith. He realized their hypocrisy and understood that whatever they publish/spread is all wrong. Every year that Awareh remained a Bahai, he was exposed to their falsehood and every treachery became known to him. After interacting with high ranking Bahais the reality was visible to Awareh. He travelled to different countries and found that the Bahai Faith was far removed from truth. He travelled thrice to Turkey and again travelled to QufQaaz and once to Turkistan. He even journeyed to Europe and observed the reality of the Bahai Faith from close quarters for 4 months in Europe. He stayed for 11 months in Misr (Egypt) and obtained information from Arabs. He finally came to the conclusion that this religion is filled with corruption.

He realized that sometimes Bahais conform or agree with one policy and at other time they oppose the same policy for their benefits. Some of the Bahais stayed in Iran and other stayed in Philistine and India for propagation. Bahais used to lie to attract the masses - they used to claim numbers for themselves in excess of reality. For example, they used to say that the Bahais in those days were around ten or twenty thousand, whereas, in reality, after 5 years of their close relationship which they had developed with Awareh their numbers did not exceed 400.

Abdul Husain Aayati writes as follows: "Nobody should think that I am just presenting the viewpoint of the religion which I wish or like but rather the interest of my country is more important in my view from the aspect of their religion especially love of freedom is of more concern to me than any other thing because the Bahai Faith injures the unity of the nation. And despite the unity which we received from them, it was the cause of differences and dispersion."

Some of the youth, unaware of their intentions and hidden agenda, were taken in by seeing their apparent faces, their words and oily tongues; they thought that the teachings of the Bahais would be beneficial for their country and hence were appreciative of Bahai thought and belief. Bahais used to associate with respected, dignified personalities and scholars in order to lead respectability to their religion and then gradually used to claim that these scholars had become Bahai. They used to associate famous mujtahids with themselves. If they were unable to relate any scholar with themselves successfully in his lifetime, then after his death they used to relate him with themselves. They even related "Ali Asgar Khan Ataabak" with themselves. Ali Asgar Khan was the son of Aaqa Ibrahim Ameenus Sultan and was famous by Ameenus Sultan. In order to achieve their aim they stopped at nothing including murder. Recently after being disappointed with the religious scholars, they moved to Europe and America to achieve their aim and instead of spreading the rumor that the scholars are Bahai they started spreading the rumor that Madam is from us so as to attract more people towards the Bahai Faith.

The written works Abdul Husain Aayati

Abdul Husain Aayati (Awareh) wrote two books related to the Bahai Faith - Kawkebud Durrih and Kashful Heel. He wrote Kawkebud Durrih when he was Bahai and was busy in teaching the Faith. He wrote it on the recommendation of the influential people when he returned from the journey of Akka. This book has been edited 3 times on their insistence. Even Abdul Baha himself has made some historical changes in this book which was not liked by Awareh. Awareh said: "Thousands of historical incidents which were not to be rejected were removed from my book (Kawkebud Durrih) with the excuse that it was not advisable and hundreds of lies were inserted with the excuse that it was advisable. This book has the history of the Bahai Faith.

Ayati says: "This book has two volumes. It is totally not reliable because many changes have been made by Abdul Baha. Others have also written historical books on the Bahai Faith but all those are baseless because most historians have taken their references from this book only (Kawkebud Durrih). This is because no other historical book was available in the market at that time. However this book itself is not valid from this point that it covers the black history of 20 years of Bab till the initial time of Abdul Baha and that too was written by Abdul Baha himself. Everybody who believe in the Bahai Faith knows well that everything is filled with nonsense".

After he saw and heard this type of deceit and after the death of Abdul Baha, when Bahais internal fraud which continued as per the wish of Abdul Baha, Awareh stepped backward from them and bid them farewell.

Awareh was upset at the hypocrisy displayed y Abdul Baha and his wife, and by Shoghi Effendi in the collection of history in his book of history. This motivated him to open up and speak about whatever wrongs he had seen and heard through the years. Due to this, Awareh dissociated himself from his own book calling it a lie. He therefore not only renounced the Bahai Faith after 20 years at the age of 53, but also revealed whatever wrong he had seen and heard. This was the premise of the book Kashful Heel.

Awareh said: "When I saw Abdul Baha as a traitor of Iran and also of religion and independence and politics of Iran, I moved away from him." When the Bahais saw that Awareh had moved back and embraced Islam, they accused him of being an outcast right from the beginning. This accusation is completely misplaced. Awareh says that if the senior Bahais were not convinced of the reliability of any person, they would not permit their wives to be photographed with him (they would not expose their wives to that person). However in the case of Awareh, one of the proofs of his reliability and proximity with the higher echelons of the Bahai Faith is that they themselves had clicked the photos of Awareh with their wives. Another reason why their accusation is wrong is that the title "Awareh" which means "One who wandered about in love of Bahaullah" was given by Abdul Baha himself. Then how can such person be an outcast?

By reading Kashful Heel, one concludes that the Bahai Faith is actually a fake religion which was started and encouraged by Russia to divide Muslims into different sects and to create differences amongst them. When Abdul Husain Aayati embraced the Islam and left the Bahai Faith, members of the Russian embassy came and sought form him the reason for leaving the Faith which in itself is another proof of the links of Bahai Faith with foreign countries.

Some startling revelations regarding the Bahai Faith

Bahais celebrate Eide’ Rizwan or Eide’ Kul. This Eid marks the freedom of Bahaullah from imprisonment on that day. They also call this Eid as "the day of Besat" of the Bab. This Eid starts about 2 hours after Zohr (noon) on the second day of the 2nd month. According to them, the Almighty has raised the "Pen" on this day. That is no sin is written on this day. A person can do anything. No action is sin on this day.

Bahaullah’s grave is the Qibla of Bahais. According to them wherever a person may be, he should turn towards the grave of Abdul Baha in Akka for prayer.

According to them if a man is in journey for a year and does not send any information about himself to his wife, then that woman can initiate divorce herself and can select any other man for marriage.

According to them if a woman and man separate their bed due to some dispute or any other reason and a woman gets its period after 1 year and if they could not make peace with each other then that woman would be considered divorcee or divorced.

If a woman and man live with each other for 1 year and did not have sexual intercourse or did not incline towards each other then both of them are divorced from each other.

According to them, Abdul Baha becomes the master (owner) of any woman whomsoever He wills without any nikah by revealing one Tablet to her. He called the young daughter of his brother Mohammad Hasan, and gave her Tablet and ask her to write "Praise be to God that I have selected you for my service". And after that he took her in his own possession. He even issued a tablet to the mother of Mohammad Ali and took her in the cradle of his high sanctuary, apartment. He asked his follower to marry one or two women but said that he can marry more than 4.

According to them Shoghi Effendi said: "Anybody who speaks against your belief or writes it, instead of replying him you should turn your face away from him and wherever you see him, spit in front of him in such a way that he should understand that he is being insulted.

How Bahais suppressed Ayati and his works

Another case of suppression involves John E. Esselmont’s use of materials by the former Baha’i historian Abdu’l-Husayn Ayati, named Avarih or Wanderer by Abdu’l-Baha. Avarih was also a “Hand of the Cause” who was commissioned by Abdu’l-Baha to write a history of the Baha’i Faith in Persian, which was published in 1923 and 1924. After completing a missionary journey to Europe, Avarih lost faith in the Cause and was subsequently declared a Covenant-breaker by Shoghi Effendi. Covenant-breakers are those who have accepted Baha’u'llah as a Manifestation of God, but have later apostatized and opposed Baha’u'llah, his successors, or Baha’i institutions. Faithful members are instructed to shun entirely those who have rebelled against the Cause of God and, although not explicitly commanded, the reading of material written by Covenant-breakers is discouraged as well. In the original edition of Baha’u'llah and the New Era, Esselmont expressed his gratitude to Avarih for his assistance in the preparation of the book and referred to him as “the learned Persian historian of the Baha’i movement.” In later editions, this acknowledgement has been removed from the preface without any notation. (51) Avarih was quoted five times in the original edition to shed additional light on certain events. Two of these quotations were dropped completely from the text of the 1980 edition, but the other three were retained entirely. However, in one note, Avarih’s name has disappeared and there is no reference to any source. In another he is quoted, but his name has been substituted by the words “On this point a historian remarks.” And finally, Esselmont included an account of the marriage of Abdu’l-Baha which was “kindly supplied to the writer by Janab-i-Avarih,” but the 1980 edition refers only to “a Persian historian of the Baha’i Faith
