One of famous Baha’i officers was colonel Shahqoli. He was one of bigoted Baha’is entitled the muezzin of Haziratul Quds of Baha’is of Tehran city. He was charge of reciting the izan of Baha’is in all official religious Baha’i gatherings. Colonel Shahqoli was Dr. Manuchehr Shahqoli’s father. Manuchehr was public health minister in Amir Abbas Hoveyda’s cabinet and of mate colleagues of Pars hospital. When Hassan Ali Mansour was shot and injured by Martyr Mohammad Bokharaee, he was taken to Pars hospital. Dr. Shahqoli was in charge of his surgery. He tried hard to recover him but he was successful.

      Manushehr Shahqoli’s struggle caused Amir Abbas Hoveyda to appoint him as the minister of health in his cabinet. Dr. Manuchehr Shahqoli was one members who established “the progressive society” –established by the Americans to attract and control the graduated American youth and to educate the new generation of Iranian politicians supporting America led by Hassan Ali Mansoure. He continued his friendship with Hoyeda after retiring from the ministration post. Based on the available data, He tried hard to cause Amir Abbas Hoveyda to escape the country who was watched in SAVAK club in Shiya on Bahman, 22, 1357. However, he wasn’t successful because of the people presence.
