Sheikh Ahmad Ehsaee (the leader of Sheikism preached thoughts which were against Shia religion ones, but due to his intimate relationships with the Iranian court and the Ottoman king, the scholars were cautious to his deviant thoughts[1]. At the end of his life, Sheikh Ahmad to Qazvin city to preach his ideas[2]. Meantime, the great scholar Baraqani considered holding debate meeting as the best way. In the debate, late Baraqani found many mistakes in his ideas and rendered his answers null, but Sheikh Ahmad Ehsaee was insisting on his deviant viewpoints. Thus, the brave clergyman practicing religious jurisprudence decreed that Sheikism is apostate. Following the late martyr, famous clergymen such as Mullah Ja’far Astar Abadi, Shariful Olama Seyyed Ebrahim, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein the owner of the book “Fosoul”, Sheikh Muhammad Hassan Najafi the author of the book “Jawaher”, Mullah Agha Darbandi ruled him to be apostate.[3]
Nevertheless; after a while, one of the pupils of Sheikism school called Ali Muhammad Bab Shirazi posed his claim for Mahdism and his followers killed and massacred the Iranian people. The great scholar Baraqani confronted him firmly and issued his historical jurisprudence concerning the Babis to be apostate.[4]
The followers of Bab’s creed who couldn’t stand the third martyr’s intellectual confrontation planned for his assassination. Despite the Baha’i historian’s denial, the Babis confessions reveal the great scholar Baraqani has been martyred by Bab’s followers headed by Tahireh Qorratul Ein. Thus; nearly two weeks before the martyrdom of the great scholar Baraqani, Qorratul Ein ordered the Babis to leave Qazvin city (except of the killers of the third martyr); as Muhammad Mostafa Baqdadi who was a Baha’i narrates:
“I was ordered to say to them to leave Qazvin city… I returned and announced. They said to me: Go to the Excellency Qorratul Ein and say why Sheikh Saleh Karimi and Mullah Ebrahim Mahallati don’t leave here with us! When I told the issue to Tahireh Qorratul Ein, she told me to com back to them and say Sheikh Saleh and Fazel Mullah Ebrahim Mahallati’s time has been finished and their martyrdom in God’s path causes them to be alive but it is not your turn to be martyred. If you causes yourselves to be martyred, it will be death.[5]”
