“أَنْتُمْ إِلا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَانٍ مُبِينٍ. “ [ابرهیم/10]
“…YE are but mortals like us, who would fain turn us away from what our fathers used to worship. Then, bring some clear warrant.” [Ibrahim/10]
However, the leaders of the Baha’i cult were giving no answer to people’s request for performing miracles. Consequently, the Baha’i leaders and their followers were to reject miracles of the prophets. The Baha’i proselytizers were asked: “What is the Baha’ism miracle?” they gave the following reasons for the lack of performing miracles:
1) God loves for the material affairs to proceed materially.
2) Miracles are proofs just for those who are present.
3) Even some people who are present reject the miracle, too.
4) Whatever you offer miracles for some people, they won’t accept.
5) The holy prophet Muhammad (P.H.) rejected to accept the miracle request.
6) God is right to test people. People aren’t allowed to test God by miracle[1].
The Answer to the justifications of the Baha’i proselytizers:
1) It is not permanent. Because sending down the heavenly tortures for some previous tribes (such as Lout tribe, Noah tribe) have been done through abnormal things.
2) There are two ways for the future people to trust: 1) Confirming the previous prophet’s miracles by the next one.[2] 2) The news which will be narrated for the future people continually.
3) Rejecting miracles by some people who are present can’t prevent recognizing them for confirming other present and absent people.
4) It isn’t a firm reason for the prophet not to give a positive answer to any request when some people ask for an intellectual miracle.
5) The holy prophet Muhammad (P.H.) rejected the miracle requests which weren’t originated from truth seeking spirit or it was impossible to be performed[3].
Except for the holy Quran which is the immortal miracle of the holy prophet (P.H.), the following miracles have been mentioned for him: renting the moon in twain[4], his ascension to heaven[5], making the sun return from dusk to evening[6], flowing water among his fingers[7], moving the tree towards him[8], people’s praising in his hands[9], sending a heavy wind in Ahzab war[10], and etc.
6) People don’t test God by asking for miracles, but the claimant of having relationship with God will be verified by performing a miracle.
