     Bahaismiran:

A sectarian thought is ossification. The simple meaning of ossification is that a person who enters into a cult loses his/her beliefs and view in a process first and then observes, behaves and believes as the cult says… Now, as a semi-religious cult having a political and complicated structure, Baha’ism introduces the independent investigation of truth as its sectarian belief foundations falsely first and then; contrary to its slogans, it limits and prevents its followers to investigate about other beliefs or listen to opponents’ reasoning. Masihullah Rahmani, one of the Baha’i proselytizers informs us about the prohibition of studying anti-Baha’i books.

The Baha’i leaders introduced the independent investigation of truth as their sectarian belief foundation. Abdul Baha says in this regard: “The first teaching of the Excellency Bahaullah is the independent investigation of truth. Human being must investigate the truth and leave imitation. “[the Sermons, vol.2, p. 144]. However, it is interesting to be noted that this is a mere slogan because the Baha’is aren’t allowed to investigate about other beliefs and listen to opponents’ words.
