All over the human history is full of racism. The ancient Greeks, Indians, Chinese people have a long background in considering other races as inferior although they have served humanity so much. Racism has also played an important role in the contemporary history of America. The while-shinned people of America apply racism as a justification for slavery or humiliating the black-skinned ones. In a society in which racism is widespread the dominant group justifies racism as: the members of the other group are inferior mentally and intelligently.[2]”

     “Although racism has decreased so much due to social campaign and seeking for equality and the increase in people’s awareness and culture; but racism has caused other racial groups to be humiliated and deprived of advantages and opportunities.[3]”

     In previous religions, the problem of avoiding racism has been constantly mentioned; but some people shout the slogan of racism due to their false insight and insist their false belief.

     In early days of the emergence of the religion of Islam, the Qoreish tribe heads didn’t accept the principle of equality established by the holy prophet (P.H.). They said to the holy prophet (P.H.): We don’t participate in your assemblies because some people such as Balal Habashi, Salman Farsi and Soheyb Roumi are present in your assemblies. Dismiss them, we will take part there. However, the holy prophet didn’t accept. They posed another suggestion. They said: Assign a day for us and another day for them to meet you. At that time, the following verse was sent down:

"وَ لا تَطّرُدِ الَّذینَ یَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بالْغَدَاهِ وَ الْعَشْیِّ یُریدُونَ وَجْهَهُ ما عَلَیْکَ مِنْ حِسابِهِم مِّنْ شَیْءٍ وَ ما مِنْ حِسابِکَ عَلَیْهِمْ مِّنْ شَیْءٍ فَتَطْرُدَهُمْ فَتَکُونَ مِنَ الظّالِمینَ"

“Repel not those who call upon their Lord at morn and evening, seeking His countenance. Thou art not accountable for them in aught, nor are they accountable for thee in aught, that thou shouldst repel them and be of the wrong-does.” (Al-An’am/52)

     The holy prophet (P.H.) didn’t accept their request, too because of the verse. He constantly considered all human beings equal. The mere difference of people is their virtue. The example of equality has been mentioned in Hojorat Surrah, Verse 13:

یا َایُّهَا النّاسُ اِنّا خَلَقْناکُمْ مِنْ ذَکَرٍ وَ اُنْثی وَ جَعَلْناکُمْ شُعُوباً وَ قَبائِلَ لِتَعارِفُوا اِنَّ اَکْرَمَکُمْ عِنْدَ اللِه اَتْقاکُمْ اِنَّ اللهَ عَلیمٌ خَبیرٌ (حجرات/13)

O mankind! Lo! We have created your male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that ye may know one another. Lo! The noblest of you in the sight of Allah is the best in conduct. Lo! Allah is knower, Aware.

     Anyway, there are many people who believe in racism and try to expand it.

     It is interesting to mention one of the examples of racism stated by one of the leaders of the deviant cult of Baha’ism.

     Praising the black people of America and insulting the black Africans, the Excellency Abdul Baha says in his book called “the Sermons, page 16: “For instance, what is the difference between the black Africans and Americans. The black Africans are cows but in the form of human beings and the black Americans are intelligent, cultured.”
