Bahaismiran:

The Imperialistic American media supported Baha’ism alongside with the politicians of the country. They are proselytizing Baha’ism through various methods (direct and indirect) using all kinds of media (written, video, audio and etc.)

1)   According to the official leaflet of the Baha’is of Iran, a film called Israel from the sea had been made by one of the famous film making American companies in which some scenes from Bab’s grave and the universal center of Baha’ism had been shown. This was an indirect proselytizing of Baha’ism in the American media.

2)   During the Baha’is conference in Chicago city, the country media reported the ceremony news unanimously and concordantly; so that, a Baha’i person called Jalal Sahihi who had participated there wrote: “The conference news was published in nearly 400 newspapers.

3)   The main press of the United States such as the Times, Los Angeles Times, Daily News and the news agencies such as Associated press are proselytizing using each excuse. For instance, The Times newspaper introduced the cult and published and interviews with Rouhieh Maxwell (Shoqi Effendi’s wife) on April, 26, 1963 in a comprehensive article. In winter 1346, one of the Baha’ism heads called Tarazullah Samandari travelled to America to proselytize and was [resent there for four months. The media report it in details. For example, the Daily News newspaper of Chicago published an interview with him entitled “The Baha’i faith, peace and Justice”. Also, according to Baha’is: “In addition to the announcements and news published in the newspapers, radios and TVs in this regard and some parts of the Excellency Samandari’s biography were casted, the detailed explanation was published by George Kurnel, the religious editorial of Associated press correspondence. The leaflet adds that George Kurnel interviewed with Samandari: “It was published in more than 4000 different newspapers across America and nearly countries such as Panama.” Indeed, this covrage is impossible but with the help of news imperialism.

     The French Media

Like England and America, we can observe an extensive proselytizing for Baha’ism in France. Pay attention to the following example:

In Mordad, 1355, an international Baha’i conference was held in Paris. It is written in the official leaflet of the national assembly of Baha’is concerning the influence of the conference: “In all meetings of the conference, the correspondents of newspapers, radio and television were present. The television of France was broadcasting the film of the conference. The French valid newspapers such as Lomond, Sosoexpress, Figaro published several articles about the conference and the Baha’ism teachings.”

     Other Media

Such supported are being observed in other European countries. For instance, the Baha’is conference in Luxemburg which was held in Shahrivar, 1331. According to the Baha’i resource “It was the greatest annual conference in Europe.” The Baha’i leaflet wrote: “… The conference news was casted in details in Radio Luxemburg… . Radio Luxemburg is the most powerful radio station in Europe and it is also the most expensive one. It interviewed with three Baha’i representatives free of charge.”
