Not long ago, Mohsen Kadivar wrote an article entitled “How do we encounter with the Baha’is?”

Kadivar wrote: “Behave Baha’is like human beings. A person’s belief –Muslim or non-Muslim- can’t make him/her human rights be taken away. This is a different basis having religious traditional thought. Baha’is in Iran, Ahmadiyanism (Qadianism) in Pakistan and Mormons in America are three contemporary faiths which encounter their problems in their communities.

The two first groups have more problems; of course. However, Muslims haven’t accepted them as religions. The theological issues can be followed and they must be followed seriously, too. Nevertheless, even we consider Baha’ism as a false cult and a deviated faith, should the believers of the faith be deprived of the human rights due to their special beliefs?”

Abdullah Shahbazi, the historian and writer, answered to Kadivar’s statements: It is obvious that each human being must be treated like human. Mr. Kadivar knows the purity and excrement issue isn’t related to the citizen rights. According to the sources of religious authorities the excrement of some believers of faiths doesn’t mean the negation of their citizen rights.

Mr. Kadivar, pay attention to the following question: Can a Baha’i be the one without being a member of the universal house of justice in Heyfa? What’s the government’s duty if the Baha’i person considers benefitting the Iranian citizen rights a being dependent on recognizing Heyfa organization formally? Maybe, Mr. Kadivar isn’t aware of this fact that according to Baha’is, the universal house of justice orders are beyond the current rules of the sovereign government? What should we do to solve this contradiction? Isn’t the acceptance of “a government into a government” contradictory with the right for the national jurisdiction? Do the Baha’is accept not to follow the UHJ in the political affairs? The answer is No. because Being Baha’i is impossible without the membership in the universal organization of Baha’ism centered by the Universal House of justice in Heyfa. That is, we don’t encounter with the single Baha’i citizen.

In order to be familiar with the Baha’is mere obedience with the universal house of justice, pay attention to Pejman Mahboubi’s statement, the Baha’i proselytizer resided in California regarding the lack of the Iranian Baha’i participation in the war between Iran and Iraq: “Was the holy prophet issuing manifestation about the tribe wars? Is the holy Quran mentioning about the war between tribes? Bahaullah’s position is obvious regard with war and warmongers? Read it in the universal peace message. It includes all human beings not just Iran, Iraq or America.”
