As it was stated, the Excellency Ali Muhammad Bab’s claimed wasn’t fulfilled not only by him but also by his successors, too. In the first part of his book, Ali Muhammad Bab had promised: “Observe certainly that the Bayan religion gates have been arranged equal to the number 361.”
The Excellency Ali Muhammad could just write the Persian Bayan by chapter ten out of nine units and the Arabic one by unit eleven. In this way, the Persian Bayan included 162 chapters and the Arabic one 209 chapters. Consequently, to fulfill his promise, Ali Muhammad Bab ordered his successor Mirza Yahya Sobhi Azal to complete Bayan’s verses.[2]
More interestingly, Yahya Sobhi Azal also couldn’t fulfill the so-called divine promise of Ali Muhammad Shirazi and he could just write 2 units and 9 chapter (totally 47 chapters) and couldn’t complete it.
Now, this question has been posed by Baha’is and non-Baha’is:
“Why wouldn’t the Bayan be complete if it were from God?! God has stated in His holy book, Quran:
اِنَّ الله لا یُخْلِفُ المیعادَ [آل عمران/9]
“Lo! Allah faileth not to keep the tryst.”
So, what’s the meaning of Ali Muhammad Shirazi and the book Bayan’s breach?!!!
