The Shiite scholars are having differences regarding the quality and method of Imam Mahdi (P.H.)’s absence. Some believe that the Excellency’s (P.H.) occultation means that his blessed body can’t be seen. Some believe that his blessed body can be seen; but nobody knows him.[1] The Sheikhi scholars say contrary to their claims: We don’t speak without reason and whatever we say is from the Household’s (peace be upon them). They innovated a new viewpoint which has solved the occultation problem.[2]

     The Sheikism cult has divided body into three parts: mundane, Hourqolia and otherworldly. They have stated each body’s characteristics. According to them Hourqolia body is the one which is one stage higher than the mundane one and is firm and enduring. This body is delicate and secure from the agents of the world.[3] Then they believe that Imam of the time (May Allah hasten his reappearance) is possessing Hourqolia body and living there. It must be said that this viewpoint hasn’t solved the Excellency Mahdi’s (P.H.) occultation. The Shiite scholars have opposed, too.
