Bahaismiran:

In order to reject the finality of prophethood of the holy prophet the Excellency Muhammad (peace be upon him and his descendants) claimed that such important issue needs to be emphasized to be proved; which there isn’t any verse in the holy Quran to prove this issue. However, there are many verses to prove this reality.

In order to reject the finality of prophethood of the holy prophet (P.H.), Fazel Mazandarani has claimed that such important issue needs to be emphasized to be proved. Nowhere in the holy Quran this issue has been mentioned.[1]

Nevertheless, there are many Quranic verses emphasizing the finality of prophethood of the holy prophet (P.H.) which are as follows:

“Blessed is He Who hath revealed unto His slave the Criterion (of right and wrong), that he may be a warner to the peoples.” (Al-Forqan/1)

“And this Quran hath been inspired me, that I may warn therewith you and whomsoever it may reach… .” (Al-Ana’m/19)

“Lo! It is naught else than a reminder for  all people.” (Al-Sad/87)

Or, the Excellency Muhammad (P.H.) has been introduced as warner for all mankind:

“And We have not sent thee (O Muhammad) save as a bringer of good tidings and a warner unto all mankind; but most of us know not.” (Al-Saba/28)

     The reasoning for the verses:

1)   The word "عالم" includes all the world; but "عالمین" which is plural consists of all human beings according to Imam Sadeq (P.H.). The word "نذیر" covers all human beings, too.[2]

2)   In some cases, the word "عالمین" has been applied in a limited meaning:

"And when the angels said: O Mary! Lo! Allah hath chosen thee and made thee pure, and hath preferred thee above (all) women of creation.” [Al-Imran/42]

According to definite reason, the Excellency Mary (peace be upon her) has been merely superior to her then women and the Excellency Zahra (peace be upon her) has been superior to all women all the time.[3]

Consequently, no chronological and local limitations have been mentioned for the prophethood of the holy prophet (P.H.). as the holy prophet (P.H.) stated:

“Be aware, the present inform the absent. There will be no prophet after me and no nation will come after you…”

3)   The heavenly book of Quran has promised Islam to be expanded all over the world. A promise which will be fulfilled when the Excellency Mahdi (May God hasten his reappearance) emerges. Imam Sadeq (P.H.) stated after mentioning the following Quranic verse:

“He it is who hath sent His messenger with the guidance and the Religion of Truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religion, however much the idolaters may be averse.” [Al-Taubah/33]

“O’ Mofassal! If the holy prophet had dominated all religions, the Jews, Christians and other religions would be vanished. When Allah says:

(that He may cause it to prevail over all religions) is related to the day when Imam Mahdi (P.H.) will be emerged;[5]

while this divine promised hasn’t been fulfilled, yet.
