While first: Concerning Muslim women’s advancement in many fields, veiling can’t be assume as obstacle for their advancement; second: How could the Baha’ism forged prophet’s daughter be the leader of Baha’ism for a while if veiling prevented improvement?!

     Answer:

1)   Contrary to Hussein Ali Nouri’s claim, a large number of veiling women are active in the scientific, cultural, economic and athletic centers in Islamic communities during recent two or three decades; so, veiling can’t be considered as an obstacle for women’s advancement and an agent for women’s stagnancy.

2)   The divine religion of Islam confront let to be a pawn ordering a suitable cover for women alongside with the acceptance of the necessity for women’s advancement. As Imam Khomeyni (P.H.) has stated: “… we don’t want and Islam doesn’t want a woman to be a thing or a doll in our hands. Islam desires to maintain woman’s personality and character to make her a serious and efficient human being. We never allow women to be means for men’s desires.[2]”

3)   The Muslim women are active in various domains and scientific field although they veil. They never assume veiling as an obstacle for their improvement and progress.

     Yes, this is the Colonialists’ policy. They confront women’s veiling using various excuses. Because they are afraid of the influence of Islam.
