Nevertheless, it is interesting to be noted that Abdul Baha tried to hide the role of English Colonialism in saving him; while his successor (Shoqi Effendi) has revealed the direct English role in saving his life and his followers’. As we read: “Lord Curzon and other members of English cabinet became directly aware of the grave and dangerous situation in Heyfa. Sending an urgent report to the English ministry of foreign affairs, Lord lamington made the officials pay more attention to the character and importance of the Excellency Abdul Baha. When Lord Balfour, the then minister of foreign affairs received the report, he ordered general Alenbi the commander of English troops in Palestine to save and protect Excellency Abdul Baha and his family and friends… Meanwhile, he ordered the commander of Heyfa front to make strong decision to save his life…[2]”
Now, the question is that:
Immediately after capturing the Palestine’s lands, why was Abdul Baha given sir medal?!
