Bahaismiran;

At the night of Mehr, 11, 1337 S.H., a new light was on in Tehran city. A new medium started running which was the beginning of a new era of a kind of relationship between the government and people. It could definitely organize and be effective on the culture, behavior and people’s view toward the government and other related sectors related or irrelevant to it.

     However, it was first used by the enemies of Islam. During 60 years, television has passed many ups and downs.

     The Iranian television which was called “Sabet television” by some later on was known as “Channel 3” which was casting amusing programs. It was trying to make people of all walks of life satisfactory. It was casting Ali Nasiriyan and Ezzatullah Entezami’s plays for elites and Ali Tabesh and Ezzatullah Moqbeli’s comedies for ordinary people. All TV. Programs were made in such a way ended in two behaviors among people:

1)   Weakening beliefs by inducing the western culture specially in veiling domain,

2)   Removing people’s sensitivity toward the government and the events happening at that period of time.

     The National television of Iran:

     In 1345, the government decided to announce the medium as national; so the government announced it national. It established “the national radio and television organization.

Reza Qotbi, the then director of the national television of Iran next to Queen Farah Pahlavi and king Muhammad Reza

     The national Iranian television expanded its activities in most parts of Iran directed by Reza Qotbi.

     During this period of time it was casting trite series mainly American ones.

     The Islamic Republic Television:

     After the victory of Islamic Republic, the Iranian television possessed just two channels. Channel one was used by the public and channel two for the elites in distinct hours. Four decades after Bahman, 1357 dozens of channels were added aiming “confronting the western cultural surprise attack by night”, confronting the influence of Persian speaking international televisions”.

     All media established in foreign countries which were enemies of Iran were following two main purposes:

1)   Destroying the policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran,

2)   Casting obscene series to weaken people’s beliefs.

     Anyway, a medium which was ran by a Baha’i has become as a strong means to confront the cultural surprise attack by night now. Now, it has been changed into one of super-media in the Middle East, Asia and even the world
