     Bahaismiran:

The socialists believe that “The viewpoint change” is the most important part in transforming the characters of the cult members; because as long as the cult member doesn’t think based on the cult ideology, he/she can’t merely obey the cult orders. Consequently, a basic change in lifestyle can be created by changing thoughts and beliefs of the cult member. Eventually, the cult member thinks as the cult desires. In this part the changes in cognitive dimension of the members will be investigated.

     No criticizing

There are standard responses for the beliefs and doctrine of the cult in the cult. The members are expected to repeat and believe these answers. Cult doesn’t accept being independent and the thoughts accompanied by doubt[1]. Definitely, when members accepted the cult realities as their beliefs, each kind of criticizing thought regarding the leader or group trainings are ceased to exist.

(Rule1: All actions and movements and speeches by the group leader are always true) It isn’t necessary to be explained.

Criticizing the leader or group by the members will make the most basic group rule questionable. Consequently, each kind of criticism is considered impoliteness.

Cults extremely respond criticisms event the lenient ones. They attack instead of challenging the correctness of critics’ statements.

Cult pose the spiritual consequences to question about the group doctrine:

 You won’t go to paradise.

God won’t be satisfied with you.

Doubt will lead you towards retrogradation.

 You won’t be saved, anymore.

You prevent others to go to paradise.

You weaken the other members’ faith.

You temp the members and cause them to fall.

In order to repress the critical thought in the group, cults attack each kind of intelligence, genius and attempt for independent thought; because the non-intellectual principles of the cult can’t resist and tolerate against intellectual investigations; so intelligence, reasoning and logic will be encountered with insult. Such insult are done to prevent cult censure.

One of the characteristics of dictatorial regimes –such as Nazi in Germany and Mao in China- is the approach against being open-minded, insulting and being afraid of fear and being hateful of intelligence and genius.

Most cults claimed for their trainings to be infallible and divine. So, they imbue that criticizing the cult or cult trainings:

v Are always false and are considered as the total badness because it disagrees God.

v Are opposing the spiritual principles of cosmology or spiritual principles of the world.

In some cults, the belief difference equals the satanic conquering. Criticizing the cult or its trainings confirms a person to be under the dominance of satanic forces.

This is the approach of many cults against the opponents: Those who agree with us, will be saved and those who oppose or criticize our beliefs and the group leaders won’t be saved. Similarly, there is a reverse judgment in the cults: No cult is judge; but the people of the cults are judged.

The group thought in cults means no real though is existent. Just group slogans and words are obeyed.[2]
