Bahaismiran:

Creating epic by the people residing Sa’dieh town of Shiraz and the martyrdom of the martyrs of this locality on Azar, 23, 1357 S.H., two months before the Islamic Revolution of Iran strengthened the courtesy campaigns in Shiraz city.

On Azar, 22, 1357, the people of Sa’dieh town of Shiraz observed a dreadful crime committee by a Baha’i Warrant officer called Safetullah Fahandej. He shot and killed several people of Sa’dieh locality and injured some of them at his house roof.

This event has been recorded in two documents. The first document is related to a telephonic message No. 1 h/2194007 of the SAVAK agent from Shiraza concerning this issue that several people from Sa’dieh locality of Shiraz city were intrigued by three religious bigoted people called Einullah Fahandej, Golam Hussein Fahandej the offspring of Awaz Ali Gabrestan and Amin Fahandej, the offspring of Amin. They will attacking the Baha’is cemetery and destroyed at 3p.m. on Azar 22, 1357 and attacked again to the homes and assemblies of Baha’is Hadhiratul Qods at 6p.pm.

For this reason, the Baha’is resided at the locality started shooting to defend themselves; so 11 bigoted religious people were killed by the Baha’is carrying weapons and a Baha’i was killed by the police and nearly 39 people were injured; so that they were being treated in Shiraz hospitals.

That day morning, some Baha’i houses have been made fire. It has been predicted that some houses belonged to bigoted religious people may be made fire. The condition of injured people and the names of the killed will be reported later.

This report is being reported by Mr. Jawan at 10 a.m. Azar, 23. The speaker of the telephongram text is Mr. Agha Janiyan and its receiver is Mr. Ghasem Pey.

It is said in the report that the Baha’is shot against the Muslims; but in another document presented by gendarmeri of Fars province more details have been offered and explained about the adventure of a Baha’i warrant officer and a solider and another person who shot people and have been arrested.

According to gendarmerie of Shiraz, Muslims and Baha’is fought in Sa’di district, Shiraz at 6:30 p.m., 2nd of Azar, 1357 and policemen meddled directly. Some Baha’i people had entrenched at their house roofs and shot, injured and killed the Muslim invaders living in Sa’di district.

One of the shooters was warrant officer Fahandej who was killed by policemen and the other were Sharam Fahandej and a soldier who were arrested escaping.

The number of killed people was 13 (12 Muslims and a Baha’i) and 15 people were injured who were hospitalized in Sa’di hospital and Namazi one. The day morning, the Muslims living in Sa’di town, Shiraz who were nearly 5000 people attacked 100 Baha’i houses and destroyed and made them fire.

Apart from these two documents, we glimpse the press reports of that time. The Islamic movement news journal, No. 8 dated 1357/9/30 writes in this regard: The people came out of the Sa’di district mosques and demonstrated while the rest were accompanying them on the roofs shouting Allah is the greatest. A warrant officer shot people and killed 23 ones. A brave soldier killed the murderer warrant officer. The soldier would be executed the next night.

According to the Peik Khojasteh leaflet, No. 1179 dated 1357/9/25 pages 1-5: Warrant officer Sefatullah Fahandej shot the people of Sa’di town along with his son Shahram and killed 21 people and injured 28 one.

Are the Baha’is claiming for not having any role in strengthening the ominous regime of Pahlavi?! And not meddling with policy?!
