" انا جعلنا لکم اصغاء الاصوات و النغمات ایّاکم ان یُخرجَکُم الاَصغاءِ عن شأنِ الادبِ و الوِقار افرحوا بفرح اسمی الاعظم".
“We have made listening to melodies and tunes legitimate. However, avoid the tunes which make you impolite. Be happy with my great name.[1]”
Consequently, Abdul Baha has also mentions the effect of listening to music in Baha’ism proselytizing: “The music art is heavenly and influential. Music is the soul’s food. The human being’s spirit will be elevated by the magic force of music. Music will create extreme excitement and influence on kids’ hearts.[2]”
However, it is interesting to be known that nowadays music is one of the proselytizing and attraction in Baha’ism. Consequently, in spite of the prevention existed in the divine religions concerning schmaltz music. The Baha’ism organization misuses music and dancing to attract people by giving religious face to it; to such an extent that one of the influential arts in Baha’ism proselytizing is dancing and the Baha’i media proselytizes using women’s attractions.
