Baha’ismiran:                     

Amir Abbas Hoveyda was the Baha’i prime minister of Pahlavi, Mirza Reza Qannad’s grandson

When Ali Muhammad Shirazi started Babism sedition in Shiraz city. One of the people who joined him as his disciples was Mirza Reza Qannad, Habibullah Einul Molk’s father (Amir Abbas Hoveyda’s grandfather. Also, After Bab’s death, Mirza Reza was of the people who accompanied Hussein Ali Baha entitled Bahaullah to Akka located at Israel.

After Baha’s death and Abbas Effendi’s succession, he was considered as one of close friends of him and he was praised over and over. Even, his offspring had selected the surname “Mamdouh”. Later on, Hoveyda changed his surname into Hoveyda.

Mirza Reza belonged to 9 people who were present when Abbas Effendi’s will was being recited.
