Sheik Mahmoud Estea'lami was a revolutionary scholar who tried hard to save the security of Mehdishahr and to eradicate the Zionism agents and the American hired workers.

His birth and education:

Sheik Mahmoud Estea'lami was the offspring of Sheik Ali Akbar and was born in Mehdishahr. His father died when he was a child; so his mother got his guardian. He says: "Sheik Hassan Abdul Husseini and I were going to Semnan city every Saturday morning on foot and coming back at weekend. We were educated by Mulla Gholam Hussein in Sadeq Khan school. In 1295 when I was 15, I headed off towards Qom city to learn in the theological school. My brother Mulla Jawad took me to Qom city by beasts during 10 days Cos there was no car. Great Masters:

His masters were Ayatollah Hajj Seyyed Ahmad Ziyarati, Ayatollah Hajj Seyyed Ahmad Khansari, Ayatollah Mara’shi najafi, Ayatollah Seyyed Muhammad Taqi Khansari and Ayatollah Sheik Abdul Karim Haeri Yazdi.

Coming back to birthplace:

At that time, Mehdishahr was being bombarded by the international spies of the deviant cult of Baha'ism. Sheik Mahmoud Estea'lami came back to his birthplace in 1312 ordered by his masters. His campaigns against the deviant cult of Baha'ism and confronting against planning against Islam by Reza Khan caused enemies to plan against him. His death (departure):

He finally died on Day, 30, 1379 (Shawwal, 25, 1421) at the night of the martyrdom of Imam Sadeq.
