Bahaullah has a sister called Ezziyeh Khanom who has been Babi. She had come to Iraq along with all who had exiled to Iraq. She has lived there like other Babis led by his brother Mirza Yahy Sobhi Azal uncontested leader.
He was an aware woman and an able author (as said before all Mirza Abbas Nouri’s offspring such as Baha, Azal and Ezzieh had been educated by their father who was the court secretary) who has written all events of their presence in Iraq. His book is considered as an important document about that part of time of Babism history. After conflicts between Azalis and Baha’is and their fighting which caused them to be exited from Iraq, Abdul Baha writes a letter for his paternal aunt Ezziyeh Khanom from Acre (Later on it was known as the paternal aunt tablet among Baha’is). He invites her to accept Bahaullah’s faith in the letter. (This letter has been mentioned in the book “the letters of Abdul Baha”, vol. 2, in 14 pages).
After that the aunt writes an important epistle called Tanbihunnaemin [awakening the sleepers] in 141 pages which is considered as the most important documents of Babism and has been published by them. It reveals the important historical facts of that period of time and is considered as the individualistic historical document for the researchers searching in Babism and Baha’ism domains. In this book, she clarifies his brother Balaullah’s ambitious of position who has assassinated his opponents with his disciples two or three years staying in Baqdad city:
“He collected some rogues and ruffians from the Iranian provinces who didn’t believe in any religion or prophet. They did nothing but robbery. They beat and killed their opponents. The following people headed off towards Karbala and Najaf cities for the feat of those executioners. They were as follows: The Excellency Hajj Seyyed Muhammad Isfahani, the Excellency Seyyed Jawad Tabatabaee, the sage Karbalaee, Mullah Muhammad Ja’far Kashi and the clergyman Mulla Rajab Ali and Motewalli Bashi Qomi. They beheaded Seyyed Ismaeel Isfahani and tore Hajj Mirza Ahmad Kashi’s belly. They killed Agha Abul Qasem Kashi and threw him into the Tigris. They blasted Mirza Reza’s head, the maternal uncle of Seyyed Muhammad by stone. They rended Mirza Ali’s side. Apart from the above-mentioned people, they killed a group of people in the dark night and threw them into the Tigris. They slaughtered some people in day in the market.
