Contrary to Baha’is attempts for rejecting the relationship between Babism and Baha’ism and the Colonial powers, there are much evidence regarding the Colonialism trace in the emergence and continuity of Babism and Baha’ism. Consequently, supporting by the Colonial czar Russia in protecting and preserving Babism and Baha’ism movements is the indication of this ominous relationship.
Thus, after Ali Muhammad Bab’s execution, the presence of the czar Russian Consul at Bab’s corpse and crying for him is remarkable. As the book Kawakeb-al-Dorrieh explains about the presence of the czar Consul at Bab’s corpse: “… His chest had been targeted by arrows. It was impossible to be counted. A group of people were sorry about that event and the Russian Consul was sadden…[1]”
Shoqi Effendi declares the presence of the Russian Consul at Ali Muhammad Bab’s corpse in the book “Qarn Badi’a” and his making film: “The next day, the Russian Consul was present in Tabriz city along with a painter and painted the Corpse picture as was thrown next to the moat.[2]
Nevertheless, it is interesting to be known that pursuing the czar Russian emperor towards Babism movement didn’t end in crying and expressing sorry. After Bab’s death, he was pursuing the succession and continuity of this deviating movement to deviate and creating disharmony and disunion in the Islamic world to such an extent that when Hussein Ali Nouri as one of the Babi heads (later on, he claimed for bringing a new religion) was captured due to assassinating against the Iranian King, he got free meddling the czar Russian emperor directly. He writes in a tablet addressing the czar kingdom “AlexanderP”:
"قَد نَصَرَنیِ اَحَد سُفَرائِکَ اِذا کُنتَ فیِ السّجن تَحتَ السَلاسِّلَ وَ الاَغلال..."
“(O’ the Russian king!) One of your ambassador helped me when I was chained in prison…[3]”
The remarkable note is that why does a country representative that have fought against Iran for many years, plundered the Iranian land, massacred many Iranian people and depredated its properties regret about Bab’s death[4] ?!!!
