Thus; in 1387 S.H., after 7 members of this illegal foundation[2] were arrested, the then prosecuting attorney Ayatollah Dorri Najaf Abadi wrote a letter to Mohseni Ejei (the then minister of the intelligent service) announced all organizational activities of Baha’ism as illegal: “the organization of the deviant cult of Baha’ism is informal and illegal in all levels and their dependence on Israel and opposition against Islam has been obvious. Their dangers for the national security is documented; so it is necessary for each replaced organization as the fake one to be smashed[3].”

Now after 10 years of imprisonment and freedom of all these people, the Baha’ism organization has issued a statement in Geneva. This statement has claimed for the members of the Baha’ism organization in Iran to be prosecuted merely due to their religious beliefs! At last, the Baha’ism organization has called their crimes including spying, proselytizing against the Iranian system of government and forming illegal group as false and baseless accusations.[4]

The following notes are worthy to be mentioned analyzing these news:

1)   Why it will be a necessity for the organization to be established against the governmental rules of Iran if Baha’ism really is a cardial belief and isn’t a political organization?! According to Baha’ism teaching, it is necessary for them to obey the governments. Lest Abdul Baha has ordered the Baha’is: “You mustn’t drink water without the permision of governments.[5]” “The verdict of each government is necessary to be obeyed even if it is authoritarian.[6]” Now, how does Baha’ism let itself to violate the governmental rules in order to preserve its organization?!

2)   The proselytizing clamor of Baha’ism when its heads were denounced (entitled that being a Baha’i is a crime in Iran). Even in presecuting attorney’s letter, the freedom of belief has been considered for the Baha’is and merely the membership in the illegal organization of Baha’ism has been announced as illegal. As Ayatollah Qorban Ali Dorri Najaf Abadi wrote a letter to Qolam Hussein Mohseni Ejei mentioning the 20^th principle of the Constitution concerning citizen rights of all people of the nation and also 23^rd principle of the Constitution concern with freedom of people for possessing each belief and expressed: “Having a belief or creed is free but announcing and expressing it to deviate other people’s thoughts, to proselytize to deceive or anguish other people’s minds aren’t allowable.[7]” consequently, the Baha’ism organization is going to deceive the general thoughts by perking that cardial belief and being the member of the illegal Baha’i organization are the same.

3)   Confessing the crimes for the heads of Baha’ism in Iran (except for forming and being the member of the illegal organization) in its statement, the Baha’ism organization has considered spying as accusation. However, even during Pahlavi period of time, Baha’ism betrayed the country shouting the slogan of stateless!!! As we read in SAVAK documents about Baha’is spying for America and Britain: “Haziratul Qods (the administrative center of Baha’is) of Tehran has written a letter to all assemblies across Iran and announced all armed forces of the Iranian Kingdom must announce the statistics of all military people from soldiers to generals to Haziratul Qods of Tehran city to be sent to Landon and Brand Scott in America and Mr. Band Scott has asked for the statistics.[8]” Don’t the Baha’ism heads communicate with Israel[9]?! As a matter of fact, how should we deal with the spying organization of Baha’ism[10]?!

4)   It is interesting to be noted that the Baha’ism organization has introduced proselytizing against the system of the government of Iran as accusation to its agents in its statement! While the Baha’ism organization’s destructive role in the political and economic seditions (such as 1388 sedition[11]) and economic and exchange sabotages[12] are obvious.

5)   Why have just 70 Baha’is out of 300,000 ones been imprisoned if being a Baha’is is a crime in Iran?!!!
