Ali Muhammad Shirazi repented after several riots were created and after some claims were stated; but his repentance was superficial. Before the recent repentance, he rejected being the deputy and the gate for Imam of the time in Shiraz city; but after a while he claimed for being the prophet and prophetic mission.
At the end of Muhammad Shah's kingdom and after his death (1264) several riots were happened by Seyyed ali Muhammad's disciples such as Sheikh Tabarsi fort event in Mazandaran. In this riot, a group of Babis headed by Mullah Hussein Boshroyee and Mullah Muhammad Ali Barforoushi appointed Tabrsi fort as their base. They dug a moat around the fort and got ready to fight against the governmental troops. They also attacked the naïve people living nearby the fort with the excuse of apostasy and plundered them. One the Babis writes:
"A group of people went and attacked the village by night and killed 130 people. The rest of them escaped. The Excellency disciples destroyed the village and took the provisions to the fort.
They thought they are the disciples of the promised Mahdi who have captured the world to rule the east and west of the world. They very man writes:
The Excellency Qoddous [Muhammad Ali Barforoushi] states: We are the right king and the world is under our seal and all world kings will be humble due to us."
So, a war broke out between the governmental troops and them and their sedition ended along with the victory of the governmental troops and killing Mullah Muhammad Ali Barforoushi on Jamadiul Thani, 1265.
In Zanjan city, a riot happened headed by Mullah Muhammad Ali Zanjani (in 1260 A.H.) ended in Babi's failure.
The Tehran city, a group of Babis decided to kill Naseruddin Shah, Amir the great and Friday prayer clergyman of Tehran headed by Ali Torshizi; but their plan was revealed and 38 Babis were arrested out of whom 7 people were killed.
It was surprising that the disciples of Ali Muhammad Shirazi participating at Tabarsi and Zanjan fort wars were Muslim and were praying and advocating Seyyed Ali Muhammad Bab's Babism.
