Based on the intellectual and Sufism background and although he was Shiite, he believed in four principles: 1) God 2) prophet 3) Imam 4) The gate for Imam (the special intermediary between Imam and people) and claimed for being the special gate and deputy for Imam of the Time (May God hasten his reappearance).
Sheikh Ahmad’s departure
Anyway, Ehsaee headed off towards Mecca from Karbala coincided with Wahhabis’ attack to the holy Shrines and then went to his homeland from Mecca.[1] However, he died in 1241 A.H. near Medinah[2]. In his history, Nabil states the death anniversary of Sheikh as follows:
“Sheikh Ahmad Ehsaee’s death took place in 1242 A.H. when he was 81. His grace is located at Baqi’a cemetery, Medina[3].
Mirza Muhammad Baqer Khansari, the author of the book Rowzatul Jannah mentions 1243 A.H. at 81 years of age as his heath date.[4]
