Edward Brown, the English researcher and spy[1] who possesses a special position among the Baha’is has considered the origin of Babism cult and Sheikism creed as the same and said in his introduction of his book called Noqtatul Kaf: “Mirza Ali Muhammad and his rival Hajj Karim Khan Kermani who is the head of Sheikism are both from Sheikism cult; so that origin of Babism way must be searched among Sheikism beliefs.[2]”
However, the claim is being strengthened when the claimant of Qaemism has confessed to be the pupil of Sheikism school[3]. It is interesting to be noted that the forged prophet of Baha’ism has commemorated Sheikism leaders (Ahmad Ehsaee and Kazem Rashti) as the greatest luminaries and the proclaimer of Ali Muhammad Shirazi’s emergence.[4]
Yes, the leaders of Sheikism creed who were against Muslims’ beliefs (such as rejecting physical resurrection, believing in Mahdism belief) have provided opportunities (wanted or unwanted)[5] for preaching Babism innovation. So, the Baha’i authors have commemorated them.
