Kazem Rashti considered the reappearance of imam of the Time (P.H.) as so near when he was dying that he didn’t appoint any successor for himself and claimed: “The awaited promised one won’t come from Jablaqa and Jablasa; but he is among you. You can him with your eyes; but you don’t know him.[3]”
In contrast, preaching such beliefs became forerunner for accepting Babism claim and then being Imam of the Time by Ali Muhammad Shirazi.
The Babi and Baha’i authors and even Ali Muhammad Shirazi himself revered the Sheikism leaders[4] to such an extent that Ali Muhammad Shirazi claimed:
"یا اهلَ الارض انی قَد ترلت علیکم الابواب فیغیبتی و لا تَتَّبعونُهم من المؤمنین الا قلیل و لقد ارسلتُ علیکم...
“O’ people on the earth, surely I sent down the gates at the time of my occultation. The faithful but a few will follow them. Surely in the part, I sent down Ahmad Ehsaee fork you and also Kazem Rashti. Merely devoted people obey them. So, O’ the people of the book (addressing the Shiite) why aren’t you afraid of your God?”[5]
