Nicola was born in Rasht city on March 27, 1864 and died in Paris 1931 A.D. He was speaking with several languages such as Russian and Persian. He continued his education in the field of the eastern languages and then in 1877 he entered into the ministry of foreign affairs. Monsieur has been the first secretary of French embassy in Iran. After studying the book by Arthur de Gobineau, he investigated all the information written by the author and modified some parts of it. Then, he translated Seyyed Ali Muhammad Shirazi’s works and became fond of his teachings. Next, he became the first western man who got Babi. He wrote various works about Bab. He was the first translator of Bab’s works in French language.
