1) Who is Seyyed Kazem Rashti?
Seyyed Kazem Rashti is the offspring of Seyyed Qasem Rashti Gilani Haeri who was from Iran and was born in 1212 A.H. Some say he had been from Hussein Origin; but some day he hasn’t been Seyyed at all; but it is a nick name; because he was active in Yazd city by the name of Ahmad Ehsaee…
After Sheikh’s death, he was elected as the head because he was fearless in expressing his ancestors’ ideas. He added some new illusions to his ancestors’ beliefs and claimed like Kashf. Maybe, they were called Kashfieh.
Seyyed Kazem was the head of the cult for 20 years and was the forth pillar among his followers in Iran and Iraq. He said: Just we are the perfect Shiites.
2) Compilations:
Seyyed Kazem Rashti has compiled many books, nearly ones; including strange claims which are full of superstitions and exaggerations about the holy Imams (peace be upon them). He was writing his book having codes.
3) Seyyed Kazem Rashti and Mahdism:
Seyyed Kazem Rashti posed Mahdism in an illusive manner; for instance, he was saying: Now, Mahdi is among you. Even, he was sending his proselytizers to nearby regions: Be prepared, He is coming and some time he was saying: The Sir is among you. Due to these superstitious and illusive thoughts, one of his prominent students called Ali Muhammad Bab claimed for being Imam of the Time. Then he claimed for being Mahdi. People were surrounding him, too and the rudiment of Babism was formed.
Seyyed Kazem Rashti trained the students who were from science and preached his beliefs and thoughts in the Iranian regions such as Kerman, Azarbaijan an and Tabriz.
During the time when Seyyed Kazem Rashti residing in Iraq, the Ottoman government attacked Iraq and nearly conquered all Iraq extensively. Most important, Seyyed Kazem Rashti was secure during these attacks.
Ehsaee and Rashti didn’t introduce anybody as the deputy; but some people claimed in some regions that were Seyyed’s deputies.
Seyyed Kazem died in 1259 A.H. and his offspring, Seyyed Ahmad became the head of the cult.
