 “Getting married with your father’s wife is illegitimate”

However, he hasn’t mentioned any commandments for getting married with other close relatives.

Hujjatul Islam Homayoun, the expert and researcher of the theological school of Qom said answering the following question:

“Is getting married done between close relatives in the deviant cult of Baha’ism in Iran or not? “He said: There are two issues posed here: what is the commandment of getting married with close relatives in Baha’ism? Is this action is done in Iran or not?

He continued: Because getting married with close relatives is taken over the Baha’is by the universal house of justice if the conditions of this job are prepared in Iran, it will not be unlikely for this marriage to be happened. The reason for not doing this action among Baha’is in Iran is that the conditions haven’t been prepared.

Hujjatul Islam Homayoun expressed: In the book, Aqdas which is the most important one of the Baha’is, Hussein Ali Nouri has said about the illegitimacy of the marriage of Baha’is:

"قد حرمت علیکم ازواج آبائکم"

That is, it is illegitimate for you to get married with your father’s wife” and hasn’t mentioned about getting married with other close relatives.

He reminded: The Baha’ism has claimed for the emergence of the new religion for today human beings; while in some cases many of their commandments are default and against common sense.

This researcher reminded: After Hussein Ali Nouri’s death, his successor, Abdul Baha was allowed to explain the commandments and to interpret them.

He continued: Shoqi Effendi, Abdul Baha’s successor didn’t have better conditions than his grandfather. After his death in London, the Baha’is circumstances disturbed and there was a confusion among them; so some famous Baha’is turned against the cult and turned to Islam.

Hujjatul Islam Homayoun confirmed: in such conditions, the universal house of justice help the default commandments of Baha’is.

He expressed: The universal house of justice is allowed to legislate the commandments forgotten to be mentioned by Hussein Ali Nouri. One of the commandments hasn’t been mentioned by Bahaullah is the issue of getting married with close relatives which has forgotten to mention the issue.

Eventually, Hujjatul Islam Homayoun said: Those who speak about the independent investigation of truth should think about the questions and commandments and turn to Islam as the Almighty God has said:

"الذین یستمعون القول فیتبعون احسنه"
