Vanishing books is a commandment issued by the Babi leader to attract his follower attentions; but he was ignorant of this fact that it has bad consequences for the Babis. Consequently, Mirza Baha banished the commandment and removed vanishing the book.
In the epistle of some doubts, he says Burning books are not mentioned in the Arabic and Persian Bayan; but vanishing books means banishing and removing previous books and not paying attention to their commandments and performing the commandments of the book Bayan.[1]
The answer to the author of this book is that: First, vanishing means destroying and is higher than burning because by burning the figure and appearance of something may not be changed but it will be completely changed by vanishing.
Second, abolishing means removing validity and apprehending commandment and works as today, the books the Testament and the Bible have been abolished.
Third, if Seyyed Bab means vanishing copies, how can Mirza Baha has ignored this part in the book Aqdas and said:
قد عفی الله عنکم ما نزل فی البیان من محو الکتب و اذناکم بان تقرؤا من العلوم ما ینفعکم
Forth, Seyyed Bab doesn’t mean the previous commandments and heavenly books; but he means all scientists' books and compilations. As he says:
فی حکم محو کل الکتب کلها الا ما انشئت او تنشیء فی ذلک الامر
So, Mirza Baha says:
وآذانکم بان تقرؤا من العلوم ما ینفعکم
Consequently, specifying by the author is contrary to Seyyed Bab and Mirza Baha's statements.
Fifth; as we said before, vanishing is higher than burning. So, the author's excuse is higher than Seyyed Bab's sin. Abdul Baha says: In the emergence day, of the Excellency the Highest, the heads will be cut off the books will be burnt, the tombs will be destroyed…[2]
